In a time when it’s tough to find a child not carrying around some type of electrical 
device to play with. it was wonderful to stumble upon this Off  Broadway musical 
Piggy Nation: A Day At Work With Dad.
Piggy Nation, based on the book, both written by Richard Rosser entertained the audience filled with 
parents, grandparents and children. This musical features an original score filled with rock, blues, rap and
gospel influences that keeps the audience engaged throughout the musical.
Piggy Nation: A Day At Work With Dad lets your imagination take the lead as the 
actors gone animals lead us through a story that teaches children about values and helps 
parents and adults to see the importance of good role models. Lessons of thoughtfulness, 
honesty and courtesy are all highlighted during this a little over an hour musical.
 Although props are few, talent is abundant!
We had the amazing experience of meeting up with author, Richard Rosser, who could not have been 
any nicer. He spent time chatting with everyone and took the time to preview the book with my daughter before showtime. My son had a chance to interview him on his vlog: TheKingsVlogs

Disney Live! is something new to our family. Last year was our first experience 
with show and we enjoyed it, so when we saw it was coming to NYC we could not wait
 to check it out again. We are huge Disney On Ice fans already and now we are huge Disney Live! 
fans as well. Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival lived up to its name. If you are looking
 for an energizing time for your family, this one is for you!
Emily was thrilled with her light up tiara and Minnie Purse!
You can find all of your Disney favorites to sing and dance along with including 
Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and of course Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and more!
Your family will not be able to resist dancing along with all of your favorite Disney Characters.
Of course, leave it to Disney Live! to throw in a few surprises like the Little Mermaid sisters
dancing to “All the Single Women” and an a larger than life Meteor shower during Toy Story 
where the meteors came off the stage and into the audience!
 Not to worry, they were giant inflated meteors so we were all safe!
