I am just spin into a ball of excitement when I hear that another Nicholas Sparks 
movie is in the works. It was no different when Safe Haven hit the big screen. If you

Katie (Julianne Hough) is trying to escape her torrid past and lands in a small seaside town in North Carolina. Alex (Josh Duhamel) immediately finds himself drawn to the new beauty, but she keeps him at a safe distance since she doesn’t want to involve anyone in what she’s running from. But his kids also take a liking to her, and it’s hard for her to avoid them all in the small town for long.

Leave it to Smashburger to come running to the aid of Boston. I must say I am not surprised. I have met the owners a few times and they are about as humble as they come around here. I was very happy when I heard about what they had in mind. Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, operating 13 stores throughout Northern and Central New Jersey under Mascott Corporation, today announced that it will officially change the name of its New Jersey Burger to the Boston Burger on May 1 – 3 and donate $1.00 from the sale of every burger sold to One Fund Boston.
Created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, One Fund Boston was created to raise money for those most affected by the tragic events that unfolded during The Boston Marathon. One Fund Boston seen an outpouring of support from philanthropists, businesses and individuals eager to help the more than and three who were killed, according to the organization’s website.
“In light of the terrible tragedy that took place during the Boston Marathon, we wanted to show our support for the families of those who died and were severely injured.” said Scott Gillman, CEO of Mascott Corporation.  “For many of the injured, the road to recovery will be long, so we wanted to show that they remain in the thoughts of New Jerseyans statewide.”
At Smashburger, the secret is in the smash.  It starts with 100-percent – fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef that is smashed on a 400 degree flat grill to sear in its juicy flavor.  To further the “better burger” experience, its delicious burgers are served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of the freshest produce, cheeses and highest-quality condiments. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester to Open its Doors to the “Big Kids” with Launch of Monthly Event Specifically Geared to Adult Fans of LEGO® on May 2

Exclusive Evenings for Adult LEGO Fans to Take Place First Thursday of Every Month

If you know anything about LEGOS, you know they are not just for kids! As my children grew older, I began to see just how intense some of the building sets were. I think that Adult Fans night is an amazing thing. Why not let the adults have a little fun! It’s great that there will be nights dedicated just to adults. It’s a great idea for everyone involved! In sharing the unique and interactive experiences offered at the just launched LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester with adult LEGO® fans, the indoor attraction today announced the launch of its first monthly Adult Fans of LEGO (AFoL) Night, taking place on Thursday, May 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (admission is from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) at Ridge Hill in Yonkers.  The new monthly event is only open to adults (18 years and older) and allows guests to experience the attraction while enjoying special events and activities tailored to adults.
“As a children’s attraction, it is LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester’s policy to only admit adults who are visiting with a child,”said Chris Mines, General Manager of the attraction.  “Our monthly event is an ideal solution for providing access to adults who grew up playing with LEGO bricks, are still passionate about all things LEGO and would like to experience the attraction.”

Beginning with the event on May 2, the adults only evenings will take place the first Thursday of each month (with no event in July as the first Thursday falls on July 4) and feature tailored activities and events that Adult Fans of LEGO will enjoy, including a LEGO building contest with special prizes being awarded, as well as a cash bar with beer, wine and select mixed drinks.  Future events may also be developed around specific themes or feature special guests and exhibits.
Of course, guests will also get to enjoy the attraction’s range of educational and interactive experiences, including its 4D cinema, two LEGO amusement rides and MINILAND – the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of LEGO bricks.
