Our Town Is back On Broadway After Twenty Years
Our Town @ourtownbroadway is back and reimagined after its last run on #Broadway about twenty years ago. I’m so grateful to have seen it then with hubby and again tonight with him as well. Twenty years later and Our Town sure hit differently this time. The story is timeless. Directed by Kenny Leon and stars Jim Parsons. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to see Katie Holmes.
This incredible cast of twenty eight pulled us right into this American classic and had the audience feeling as if they were part of and living in Our Town. #OurTown is where we live now, where we came from and where we are going. By the way, throughout the show there are scents released that give you a real life real time feeling.
This show is a bit mature and I would not recommend it for children under 13, that’s just my personal recommendation. Some heavy topics are addressed. Although there are quite a few laughs, there are also quite a few tissue alerts. Now is the time to see Thornton Wilder’s Our Town on Broadway NYC
