Disney Infinity New Star Wars Rise Against the Empire
Okay, Star Wars fans and Disney Infinity fans, it’s time to gear up for the latest!! Our gaming/Disney/StarWars house is waiting for this, we have been waiting for this since Disney Infinity launched! I mean, STAR WARS!!!!!!! Need I say more- Star Wars! They had me at Star Wars!!! Disney Interactive released new information and assets for Star Wars Rise Against the Empire, one of three Star Wars Play Sets to be released for Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition this year.
Developed by Studio Gobo, in partnership with Avalanche Software, the game takes iconic moments inspired by the original Star Wars trilogy, Episodes IV-VI. Star Wars Rise Against the Empire will take players on galaxy-spanning missions with legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, Rebel leader Princess Leia Organa, heroic smuggler Han Solo and his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca to help defeat Darth Vader and overthrow the evil Galactic Empire. Non-stop, action-packed adventure awaits players as they explore open world planets like Tatooine on foot or on a Bantha, take down AT-AT walkers aboard a snowspeeder on Hoth, out-maneuver stormtroopers on a speeder bike on Endor, and partake in epic space battles in an X-wing starfighter to destroy the Death Star

The latest Skylanders game has been announced, and it looks INCREDIBLE: this fall, clear the road, air, and sea for the vehicle-focused Skylanders SuperChargers! We got a special look at the upcoming game at an exclusive event hosted by MomTrends and Activision– read on to learn everything there is to know about the newest installment in the Skylanders series!
As you know, we’re BIG Skylanders fans here, and as a family who’s played through the four previous chapters in the Skylanders adventure (the 2011 debut hit Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure & its sequels Skylanders Giants, Skylanders Swap Force, and Skylanders Trap Team), we’re thrilled to check out the latest additions to the franchise. But just what is Skylanders SuperChargers?
Releasing on September 20 of this year, Skylanders SuperChargers will focus on a brand new type of interactive Skylanders toy: vehicles! Yes, all of your favorite Skylanders (plus 20 new SuperChargers!) will be able to drive, dive, and fly across Skylands as they explore the world in twenty new land, water, and air vehicles. The cars (and planes, and submarines, and more!) each pair up with one of the new SuperCharger characters (like the Giants, Swap Force, and Trap Team characters that lent their names to previous games)– though any character can drive, when the vehicle and its matching SuperCharger are on the portal together, both will receive a supercharged upgrade, making them more powerful overall.
As always, the game will release with a Starter Pack featuring the new portal and three Skylanders figures– this year, those three figures are the trailblazing dune buggy Hot Streak, its partner SuperCharger (the robotic-looking flaming dragon Spitfire), and fan favorite Stealth Elf, who’s been given an upgrade to SuperCharger status as well! The game will also be available in a new digital Portal Owner’s Pack– similar to the Portal Owner’s Pack from Skylanders Giants, this new edition will allow you to use the previous game’s portal (in this case, the one from Skylanders Trap Team), but unlike the previous Portal Owner’s Pack, the Skylanders SuperChargers one will feature a digital download of the game rather than a physical disc, and digital versions of the starter pack characters as well.
Skylanders SuperChargers will be available on September 20, 2015 on Xbox One, Playstation 4, WiiU, Xbox 360, PS3, and iOS (and an alternate experience of the game will also be available on Wii and 3DS.) A Visit To The Peeps & Company Store In Bethlehem, PA

Our family is spending this summer in Pennsylvania! There is so much to do and so close to home. With most PA attractions under three hours away, they are great for day trips or to combine into longer stays. Recently we visited a Pa theme park and decided to stop at the Peeps & Company Store in Bethlehem, Pa on the way home. Total RIGHT CHOICE!
Our family has been long time Peeps fans, or should I say long time Just Born Brand fans! We all love Peeps and are thrilled that the Peeps line has extended into other holidays. We also have some big Just Born fans in the house. Just Born is the maker of Peeps, Mike&Ike, Hot Tamales and Peanut Chews! So, where our family heard there was a store we could get to, we had to visit!
The Peeps & Company Store is located in the Outlets at the Sands and next to the Sand Casino. It’s easy to find and located near an entrance door which is great if you just want to visit the one store, OR if you are in the mood for a little outlet shopping. We did make a special trip just to visit this store! If you are a Peeps fan, it’s a MUST! They have Peeps everything! We found Yankee Candles Peeps, Peeps bubbles, Hats, tee shirts, Jammies, stationary, and of course specialty Peeps! This place lives up!
In addition to Peeps and free samples, there was a special section in the back of the store where you could measure your Hot Tamale level and see just how HOT you are! There was also a Mike & Ike Station. Yessssss!!!! They had little containers that held about a pound of Mike & Ikes and you could choose the flavors you liked and leave out what you did not like! I was pretty much obsessed with the Mango flavor! There were the originals, plus Root Beer, Pineapple, Lemonade, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, Sour Apple and more. Delicious! If you are a Mike & Ike fan, this is just a heavenly experience!

Did I mention there were Mike & Ike lollipops with Mike & Ikes inside of them? It was like being a kid in a candy store. Wait, we really were in a candy store. This place lived up!
