WHAT: Lincoln Center invites costumed kids and families for a festive Halloween celebration at its third annual LC Kids Trick-or-Treat, a fun-filled day of free events, activities, and performances. The 2016 edition attracted more than 10,000 kids and families.

Josie Robertson Plaza and Hearst Plaza:

11:00 am  1:00 pm:  Trick-or-treating at Lincoln Center venues and public spaces Scavenger Haunt activity stations around the plazas, presented by Gateway™s Haunted Playhouse; Children™s Museum of Manhattan invites participants to create a stuffed zombie on Hearst Plaza; Spooktacular Amboolance presented by NewYork-Presbyterian; Saw players, hand balancer, and stilt walkers on Josie Robertson and Hearst Plazas; and Partner giveaways and activities.

Families and their kids will be able to participate at the #LC Kids Costume Contest by taking a photo and posting it to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #LCKids. Winner will be announced on Instagram on October 31, and will receive a year-long membership to LC Kids, brunch for four at The Grand Tier Restaurant, as well as tickets for four to family performances presented by Lincoln Center resident organizations, and more.

1:00 pm Free film screening of Monster House

Presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center (Recommended for ages 9+)

The organizations participating in LC Trick-or-Treat this year include: Film Society of Lincoln Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Juilliard Store, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, GoGo squeeZ, Children’s Museum of Manhattan, American Ballet Theatre, NewYork-Presbyterian, Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, Met Chorus Artists, Big Apple Circus, and The Grand Tier Restaurant.
