Pokken Tournament Review for the Nintendo Wii U
Pokkenwiiu
When Nintendo’s collaborative effort of Pokken first hit arcade machines, I was extremely eager to try it out. As a fan of both the Tekken fighting game franchise, and an even bigger fan of the Pokemon series, I couldn’t have been more excited when I heard that the game was making it’s way to the Wii U console.
 Pokken Tournament

Pokken Tournament is the perfect blend between the fast paced action of Tekken and the beloved Pokemon series. The game allows you to play as a wide variety of Pokemon, like Pikachu, Blaziken, and Gengar, along with 13 other fan favorites! The game features many arenas in which the characters can duel, my favorite being Haunted House. All of the stages have little Pokemon references in the backdrop, as the Haunted House course has a Ghastly floating around. The game all at once feels like both an authentic and full Pokemon and Tekken experience.

Pokken Tournament

At the beginning of this incredible fighting game, you can customize your trainer, and as you play more matches, can unlock new items to change their appearance. The game boasts a variety of modes, ranging from the standard Free Battle mode to Ferrum League, where players will work up the ranks to become the best fighter possible, Pokken Tournament for the Wii U is the next big fighting game experience, and probably my favorite fighter available on the Wii U.

Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games- #Nintendo3ds #NintendoKidReviewer

Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

marioandsonicMy name is Emily and I am an official Nintendo Kid Reviewer. It’s really fun every time a new game comes in the mail. This time Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games came. There are a few modes you can play. Up to four players can play the game with one game card! In the Road to Rio mode you play through the game and play to win the Olympic Games with one gym to train with Mario’s gym or Sonic’s gym. In the Rio 2016 Quick Play you can choose which event to take part in.marioandsonic1

In the game you can switch to Plus Events which are the same events with little (or big) twists. In Pocket Marathon you can get prizes from running a course. To run the course you close your 3DS without turning it off and take it with you when you go for a walk. You will win prizes like melons and apples which you can trade for clothes and gear. I haven’t played the whole game yet, but so far it’s been so much fun!

Game tip: Try the clothes and gear that are best for the event and for you.(If you can’t beat a part of the game you can get an assisted clear)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Review #NintendoKidReviewer @Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Review

zelda

I have been a fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise for as long as I remember. I loved catching myself up on the series via the Nintendo E-Shop and the re-releases of games like Ocarina of Time, and Majora’s Mask. I was extremely excited to see that my favorite game in the franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, was being remastered for the Wii U system. I was so eager to dive back into the universe that I loved so much when I originally visited the game on the Nintendo Gamecube system.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD brought back all the great times I experienced years ago, but in a stunning new way. With top-notch graphics and the use of the Wii U’s Gamepad, the experience felt very new and refreshing. Twilight Princess also features one of my favorite storylines from the Zelda franchise, where Link switches back and forth between his normal and wolf forms in order to save Hyrule.

The game is a rich experience on the Wii U console, and features incredible gameplay along with awesome and challenging boss fights. I’ve already sunken many hours into the game, and I’m still finding many new things to do, and many places to explore. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a Nintendo gaming experience that you should definitely check out on your Wii U console!
