The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Review

zelda

I have been a fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise for as long as I remember. I loved catching myself up on the series via the Nintendo E-Shop and the re-releases of games like Ocarina of Time, and Majora’s Mask. I was extremely excited to see that my favorite game in the franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, was being remastered for the Wii U system. I was so eager to dive back into the universe that I loved so much when I originally visited the game on the Nintendo Gamecube system.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD brought back all the great times I experienced years ago, but in a stunning new way. With top-notch graphics and the use of the Wii U’s Gamepad, the experience felt very new and refreshing. Twilight Princess also features one of my favorite storylines from the Zelda franchise, where Link switches back and forth between his normal and wolf forms in order to save Hyrule.

The game is a rich experience on the Wii U console, and features incredible gameplay along with awesome and challenging boss fights. I’ve already sunken many hours into the game, and I’m still finding many new things to do, and many places to explore. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is a Nintendo gaming experience that you should definitely check out on your Wii U console!

Nintendo World Renamed Nintendo New York- All New And Now Reopened! #NintendoNY

mario1For years and years we have been going to the newly renamed Nintendo New York. First of all if you remember way back, the store originally opened at the Pokémon Center New York, followed by Nintendo World and now currently it is named Nintendo New York. If you are a fan of Nintendo you will definitely want to head over there and check it out. There have been a ton of renovations. All of your favorite games and character plush, clothing, accessories and more are all available for you to take home.IMG_1418 IMG_1401You will be able to see all things old and new at Nintendo New York. Check out an array of all of your favorite consoles throughout the years. Since hubby and I were gamers even before the kids arrived, I am pretty proud to say that we have quite a few of the display items!- I can’t believe how far the Gameboy has come. I remember thinking how wonderful it would be to have a lit screen as I held up my reading light to try and see my Tetris game on my original chunky Gameboy. I love to just look at all the different ones side by side.  IMG_1425 IMG_1426You will definitely want to check out the fifteen foot gaming wall! I WANT one in our house! It’s ever gamers dream come true! It’s fun for both the kids and the adults to test out all of the latest games available from Nintendo. If I do say so myself, seeing your favorite game on a fifteen foot screen is pretty amazing and definitely worth a stop and see. IMG_1419

If you are in the NYC area, you will not want to miss out on a trip to Nintendo New York! It’s a gamers dream come true. Even if you are not a gamer, you may want to stop in and check it out for a gamer in your life. They will thank you for it.

Minecraft: Wii U Edition Review #NintendoKidReviewer #Nintendo

Minecraft: Wii U Edition

minecraftOur family has loved Minecraft the moment we first heard about it. So, when we heard it was coming out as a Wii U edition was were beyond excited. In a family of gamers it is great to find a game that spans the interest of the entire family. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is a game that perfectly fits on Nintendo’s Wii U console. The game has no set story, and its primary focus is adventure and exploration. From the time that I have put in the game already, I can say nothing but bad things about the game. From the many nights of struggling through with minimal supplies in Survival Mode to the days and nights passing as I build massive structures in Creative, the experience overall has been incredible.

Minecraft features extremely diverse landscapes with many different animal and enemy types that you will encounter throughout your journeys. The game’s world is randomly generated, meaning that no two games will be alike. This gives each player their own unique experience, while also giving the title loads of replay value due to the fact that you can create as many worlds as you want!

The game looks absolutely stunning on the Wii U. Minecraft: Wii U Edition boasts vast landscapes, many places to explore, and great multiplayer support! Up to four people can play together via splitscreen, and eight people can play the game together online! The game becomes even more fun with friends, as you can invite them into your worlds to explore or build. I have already made some great memories with some of my best friends while sinking hours into travelling across a variety of locations within our Minecraft world. It’s also a lot of fun to hop onto the game via local play with your family!

Minecraft: Wii U Edition is the definitive game for explorers, builders, adventure seekers, and people just looking for an amazing gaming experience. The Wii U is the best place to check out this title, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try. With many different things to do and hours of content packed in, Minecraft is one of the must-have games for the Wii U system in 2016.
