Recently I was introduced to le top clothing for little ones. I was immediately in love with the entire site and so sad that Emily was at the tail end of the clothing sizes. le top clothing is for sizes newborn to 6x.

My daughter, who is in awe of anything leopard, was beside herself where her Born to Be Wild Faux Fur coat, hat and matching shoulder bag purse arrived! She could not wait to check them out. Of course the weather in our area was overly warm during Fall, so the minute a little bit of a chill took hold she grabbed for the coat, hat and purse and out the door she went.

She even convinced me it was a great school choice (for Fridays).  If you have a daughter, you know that they can be pretty choosy when it comes to clothing. It took me forever to find this out since my sons just wore whatever I chose.

It’s a whole new way of life for me now. Anyway, I wish I could turn back the hands of time and have found le top brand when Em was a tiny one. This line of clothing is just so adorable and well made.

It seems that when I start to plan holiday get togethers the first thing that comes to my mind is baking and of course, chocolate! I will use any excuse to get that delicious chocolate into my kitchen!

This year I was thrilled to find out that Divine Chocolate had two new options that I had never tried before.

Dark Chocolate Sun Dried Apricots are delicious. Although I love to bake with Divine Bittersweet and White Chocolates, the thought of just serving Chocolate Covered Sun Dried Apricots and Dark and Milk Chocolate Mixed Nuts in a little candy dish put a smile on my face. My family enjoyed both! How do I know? There was nothing left in the dish within minutes! That’s always a sure sign they liked it!

 As you already know, I really enjoy baking. Sometimes I do take a shortcut but add my own twist to it. In this case, I used a premade breakfast bun/roll and cut each one into four pieces. This way I was able to have bite sized yummy bits! Before I baked them up I put them into the Divine Cocoa. You can’t imagine how delicious this smells while baking! When the mini bun bites were baked up, I put a little powder sugar and water mixture on top and then some bits of dark and white chocolate. They came out absolutely delicious. Writing about them makes me want to get up and make some more. This is going to be a big hit throughout the holidays when the kids are home from school. I also used the white chocolate to top off pancakes the other morning. Yum! There are a million ways to used Divine Chocolate and Divine Cocoa.

Being a mom for the past twenty-two years has taught me one thing, life goes by fast. That little baby you hold in your arms will be driving before you blink you eye. I have had the fortunate life of my children all being eight years apart-making my youngest daughter only seven. Even those seven years have passed in a heartbeat. Recently Emily has been trying her hand at cursive writing. It’s something she has been self teaching just turning seven a few weeks ago. One of the very first surprise pictures she made was this one where she drew a picture of “Mommy and Me” and tried to write her name in cursive. These are the priceless moments in life I wish I could just freeze forever! Although the moment only last a minute I think I have found a way to make it last much longer.
