Sprint Has Amazing Things Going On!  

 Recently I had the privilege of attending the Sprint Mom NYC event held at the Sprint Executive Briefing Center, where I got to see the latest tech that Sprint has to offer– particularly their brand new apps, phones, and plans/network perks. I was amazed at how much Sprint has to offer, particularly for families!

     A big hit in that regard is Sprint’s “Family Locator” app, which allows parents to remotely keep an eye on their children from any mobile phone or computer connected to the same plan. The service simply requires a web-enabled Sprint phone or a computer connected to the Internet, a plan that includes data, and other Sprint phones (all Sprint cell phones contain built-in GPS that can be used in conjunction with this.) It’s a great tool for keeping track of your family, and for making sure the kids are where they’re supposed to be!

     Another revolutionary piece of family safety technology from Sprint is Drive First, a free program which automatically shuts down your phone when you are in a vehicle moving 10mph or more. While you are driving, it automatically responds to texts and calls so you don’t get distracted. It also has the capability to be easily overridden in emergency situations, with quick access to dialing 9-1-1 when necessary.

     New phones and gadgets were also on display, including the latest in Samsung’s Galaxy line– like the Galaxy Gear. Samsung’s Galaxy Gear is a watch that links to your smartphone, allowing you to access texts, voice messages, and more from right on your wrist! Sprint also showcased all the things that are possible when using the Sprint network, using this video to drive the point home.

     Our family has been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans from the beginning– I remember watching the original cartoon with my first son in the 90s, then the newer version in the early 2000s with my second son, and now my daughter loves to see the Turtles on Nickelodeon. Naturally we were thrilled to hear that there is a new TMNT game on the market, and even more excited at the chance to play it!

     The game, called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after the TV show, follows the four heroes as they battle through New York City to defeat the Shredder, facing some of their most fearsome foes along the way. It’s a blast to play, and what really stood out about it is that we can all play together at the same time, as the game allows up to four players to control the Turtles at once!

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles offers hours on hours of game play, with plenty of different modes to play– like Time Attack, Challenge Mode, and more! This game is excellent for all fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles… it was certainly a great time for our family!

These are just a couple of the great combinations you can make with the Swappers!

My children loved that they could switch around the characters. When I tried it, my son used the top half of Wash Buckler and the bottom half of Blast Zone, and I used the top half of Blast Zone and the bottom half of Wash Buckler. The switchable parts really make playing the game a whole lot different. It changes the experience completely, in the best way possible.
