 On our recent visit to Hershey Park Christmas In Candylane we had the pleasure of  visiting Hershey Sweet Lights. It was a pure delight to our eyes! Hershey Sweet lights is not inside of Hershey Park. Hershey Sweet Lights is a drive through experience that you can enjoy from anywhere in your car. It’s located very close to Hershey Park and worth doing with your family. As you drive up to the entrance you will be given two pair of  special magical glasses(if you have more than two people in your party extra glasses are available for purchase). They enhance the viewing by creating little snowflakes around the lights. The glasses really do make the experience even more magical especially for the children. This light up winter wonderland had everyone in the car in awe from my oldest son who is twenty two down to my seven year old daughter. It’s a great family fun activity! We did see some cars with children in pajamas (very adorable idea).

When we first arrived at Hershey’s Sweet Lights we had no idea about what to expect. Little did we know there were two miles of light up happiness to greet us. They also alert you to the holiday music on your radio station that can accompany you on your drive thru. The trail of lights takes you through an initial flat area of displays and then through a winding path through the woods.

The light displays included the enchanted woods, fairy tale characters, the Twelve Days of Christmas, staple Christmas scenes, Victorian scenes, Hershey displays and more. You can even find your favorite Hershey Park rides! There are about six hundred different light displays! now that is very sweet! My daughter especially liked finding Roudolph peeking out from behind
 the trees throughout the trail. 
The price of Hershey Sweet Lights varies, but stays around $20. Well worth the fun you will have throughout the journey with your family. The magic of the experience is priceless!

Hershey Sweet Lights takes a little over an hour to go through, but can take longer or shorter depending on the traffic. There are also portable bathrooms available at the Hershey Sweet Lights welcoming area, along with drinks and kettle corn (for sale).

Ever since Emily came along seven years ago, I feel like I have turned into a bit of a doll expert.
We have dolls of every size and shape around our house. One of Em’s favorite choices is the 18 inch doll type. She has quite a few different brands in that size. Recently I was introduced to Our Generation 18 inch dolls. First of all, I love that there are so many doll choices. There is literally a doll for every little girl’s taste.
The Our Generation doll that I received was Jessica-Anne. Our Generation dolls each have their own story. The brand is helping little girls and families to learn important issues in life such as recycling, giving back by holding bake sales, supporting charities, holding penny drives and more. All of these valuable traits that help little girls turn into caring women with drive and compassion but never forget that playing hopscotch , tag and cartwheels can never be replaced along the way! Little girls have to be little girls, but along the way they can also learn about important issues in the world and their own community. Our Generation stands for something that I want to instill into my own seven year old daughter. 
Our Generation even has a website where girls can give their own opinions on what they feel is important to the world and to her. They can explore their creativity by creating new looks for their dolls or crafting an online heart that will represent her story on the Wall of Hearts! What a unique and incredible experience for a little girl. Who would not like to have their own daughter or special little girl in their life to join in on these important life building skills. As a former twenty year inner city teacher I cannot even begin to tell you the value I think Our Generation dolls have on the world. 
Now, alongside from all of the important values that Our Generation dolls can introduce your daughter to, there is also something else they can provide, hours of love and fun!
This 18 inch doll can stand alone. Big Plus!!! If you even play dolls with your daughter, you know what I am talking about. You do not have to lean her on anything, she free stands. Her legs are great for sitting and her arms move back and forth. Her head turns and her eyes blink. The hair is beautiful and easy to style. Her hair even comes styled in a fancy hairstyle. The dolls come fully dressed with shoes and an accessory. There are even matching doll and girl fashions. Dolls and clothes are available online or at Target.com.

Playtime is a biggie in our house. My daughter loves to break out the toys and whoever is in the room at the time will join in with their own little twist to add to the fun. Being a total Disney family, you can imagine how huge Disney’s Frozen movie has been to us. Even before the movie premiered my daughter knew all of the songs and pieced together from the lyrics what was going on throughout the story. Since then we have seen Disney’s Frozen twice! Of course I personally love the movie, too! What a brilliant twist. Now, I won’t give it away if you have not seen it yet. If you have not hit the theater yet, I highly recommend you see it on the big screen if possible. It’s worth the bucks, even thought it’s the holiday season.
So it goes without saying, you can imagine that quite a few Frozen toys made it into Emily’s letter that she sent to the North Pole. Glad I was able to get a glimpse at it before it was mailed! I did not realize that the Disney Frozen Castle Playset was one of the items on the list. I had planned on giving her this amazing castle before Christmas to help out with this review, but I could not destroy the fun of Santa leaving it for her instead! Last week when we had breakfast with Santa, sure enough she asked for it (along with a couple of of other Frozen toys, Singing Anna, Singing Elsa, Frozen books, pjs, and more. Not to mention that Emily already has every clothing choice available for Frozen along with the dinnerware and toys already. She just loves Frozen! After the breakfast as we headed to the Disney Store to peek around. Emily wouldn’t mind living inside the store and it always takes forever since she has to check all the different toys, clothes and displays. Honestly I cannot stop her, it’s too cute!
The Disney Frozen Castle of Arendelle Playset is amazing! Of course I had to take it out and play it alone but I managed. My daughter is going to LOVE this toy! It comes with everything you need to recreate all of your favorite scenes from the movie Frozen. The characters are amazing. This three level castle comes with Anna, Elsa, Hans, Kristoff and Olaf! It also comes with two beds (Anna and Elsa), a wardrobe, vanity with a stool, dressing screen and even a couch. Anna and Elsa are just beautiful and adorned in satin shirts that shimmer. Each figure is about four inches tall for perfect play fun. The figures do not stand alone.
One of my favorite parts of this playset is the “dance with me” feature. You can choose any two figures to place together into the plastic holder slot and then move the characters along with a lever from underneath.
Okay, so I did sing when I tried it. Don’t judge, you know you would have sang, too!
Another feature I loved is that the entire set folds and closes and all the pieces fit inside of the castle. Yes!
There is nothing more aggravating than looking for pieces of a playset that have been misplaced. By the way did I mention that the rooftops glisten and glitter and shimmer for that snowy magical look. What more could you ask for?

Being a Sesame Place Ambassador Blogger allows our family to spend many days at Sesame Place.
Being we are less than two hours from the theme park we can choose to stay over or make it a day trip.
My family loves spending time together and cannot usually resist the chance to check out a  new hotel.
Recently when we visited Sesame Place for A Very Furry Christmas we had the pleasure of staying at Courtyard by Marriott in Langhorne, Pa. The Courtyard by Marriott is a Sesame Place Partner Preferred hotel and located close to the park with a shuttle bus service to take your family back and forth to the park if you choose.
 The Courtyard by Marriott, Langhorne offers a Sesame Place package, which I would highly 
recommend going with if you stay there for the purpose of visiting for 
A Very Furry Christmas or at any time that the park is open.
The Sesame Place package includes breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children along with 2 one day passes to Sesame Place and an adorable Rubber Ducky! 
Complimentary breakfast is not included while staying at this hotel. The breakfast is made to order and truly delicious. You can also purchase other food items throughout the day.

The Courtyard by Marriott, Langhorne lived up to our expectations of the Marriott brand. 
The rooms were clean and the hotel was very inviting. The rooms and all areas of the hotel that we visited were clean. That is very very important to our family. There was even an indoor pool. 
The huge perk to this hotel is the lobby. It is one of the most spacious lobbies I have seen within the Marriott chain. There is plenty of room to meet up with others from your party and spend time chatting or playing in the lobby, complete with fireplaces and televisions. Our family could have spent hours in the lobby!
If you are traveling to the Langhorne/Philly area you should definitely consider Courtyard by Marriott Langhorne, Pa. One last bonus to this hotel is that it is very close to a shopping area that included 
Babies R Us and several eateries. You can check out the hotel here.
