For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon. Disney’s “Pete’s Dragon” opens in U.S. theaters on August 12, 2016.3decades3kidslogoDisclosure: Diane Sullivan/3decades3kids is a Disney Pictures/PetesDragon Movie Partner. This December Netflix Is Perfect For Snuggle Weather #Giveaway #StreamTeam

I’m Dreaming Of A Night In….December Is Perfect Snuggle Weather

bigbrother

My favorite snuggle weather is here. Bring on the blankets, hot cocoa and movies, movies, movies. Our family lives for snow days and being together enjoying some much needed family time along with some great movie watching. It seems like we all head in a million directions but when the weather turns cold everyone stays home and the movies are going. What is your favorite movie? We have been hooked on Christmas and holiday movies since December 1st. It’s basically movie night every night here now. That is just fine with me! Thanks to Netflix you can find a movie for everyone in your family. That’s great for us since our kids span the ages. Some of the movies below are our family staples during December. What’s your favorite? Fire’s on, hot cocoa is poured and cozy socks are propped and ready for a night on the couch. These holiday favorites will have you feeling merry and bright, all season long.
