Sesame Place Opens May 3rd
For The 2014 Season
It’s that time of year again! Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA, less than two hours from the NYC area will open its gates this weekend (May 3rd/4th) for the 2014 season. This season promises even more fun, new characters and a new show! Cookie’s Monsterland is a little delayed because of the rough winter we all went through. Our family is looking forward to the new Elmo The Musical Live! Show. 
There is also a wonderful line up of special event concerts that your family will love! The concerts are included with your park admission but you do need to make a reservation online in advance to grab your seats. You can see Choo-Choo Soul, Super Why Live! and Calliou’s Musical Playdate during the upcoming weekends! See you there!

Just mention the word ballet in our house and it will be followed by numerous pirouettes and most times a full show including a tutu. Emily loves ballet and has been enrolled in dance school since she was 18 months old. As you might expect she is in love with Angelina Ballerina. This friendly little mouse splices her story with real life dancers to enhance dancing of every style.
Recently at the Toy Fair I was excited to see that Madame Alexander would be creating a line of Angelina Ballerina dolls. I knew in our house this would be big! Like mother like daughter, as a child I spent many years on the dance floor. I’m happy to share my love of ballet with my daughter and hope the tradition will continue throughout her life. Ballet and little girls just seem to go hand and hand. What little girl does not want to twirl and whirl and be free to express themselves through dance. Emily was beside herself to see the new Angelina Ballerina doll by Madame Alexander arrive. It’s her first Angelina Ballerina doll although she has been a fan forever. I could not help but add some pics of Emily at six years old at ballet followed by Mommy at six years old (many moons ago).

He’s fourteen, but for that slight second I had the chance to go back in time. For that slight second during the meet and greet with Megatron at Universal Studios Hollywood- He looked up at Megatron and he was seven….and I got teary eyed….very teary eyed. Thank goodness for sunglasses.

 Boys grow up way too fast. I miss having little boys in my house. For sixteen years I was surrounded by Transformers, Star Wars, Spiderman, Batman, Superman, The Hulk…you get it.
 I thought it would never end..but it did. It was nice to “GO BACK” for a moment.
