It does not take much to enter especially when you think of the prize attached!   Water Country USA® is hosting a Colossal Pool Party and one lucky school will win the ultimate VIP experience at Virginia’s largest water park. The Williamsburg, Virginia, water park is launching a video submission contest to celebrate the summer season and the opening of its newest family-thrill attraction, Colossal Curl™. High school students in grades nine through 12 are invited to join with their schools’ administration to enter the Water Country USA Colossal Pool Party Giveaway.
o   One lucky school will be awarded the following:
      • VIP admission for up to 250 students and up to 50 chaperones to Water Country USA.
      • The opportunity to be among the first to ride Colossal Curl.
      • Access throughout the day to a VIP zone.
      • Complimentary lockers and dining options.
      • Transportation assistance to and from Water Country USA.
      • An exclusive party after the park closes to the public.
o   To enter the contest, participants should submit a video that is no less than 30 seconds, but no more than two minutes, long. The video should describe why their school deserves to win a colossal pool party at Water Country USA. The entry phase of the contest begins on March 24 at 10 a.m. and submissions will be accepted through April 11 at noon. Starting at 5 p.m. on April 21, Water Country USA fans can vote on which school they think should win the contest. The entry process, official rules and submission criteria are available on Water Country USA’s Facebook page – Facebook.com/WaterCountryUSA. The giveaway is open to legal residents of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Washington D.C. and Delaware.

The shine today and our family cannot think about where to go first this spring and summer! Once place that comes into mind right away is Busch Gardens and Water Country USA in Williamsburg, Va.
It’s the perfect place for those of us who do not want to venture too far from the NYC area. Virginia is just far enough away to feel like you are on a major vacation and yet, you can get a long weekend in with more than enough time! Spring has sprung at Busch Gardens and the park is celebrating all April  with special birthday and anniversary celebrations of its most iconic kid-friendly attractions. Sesame StreetForest of Fun™ turns 5 years old this month, and Busch Gardens is celebrating with a weekend long birthday party on April 4 – 6. Elmo and his Sesame Street friends will greet guests each morning in the park’s England village. They will then lead families from England to Sesame Street Forest of Fun for the birthday celebration that will include complimentary milk and cookies. The birthday treats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Macy’s Flower Show

Every year in NYC something very spectacular happens on 34th Street.
You would never expect to find a magical world of flowers inside the walls of Macy’s.
The outside windows will give you a little hint of what lies inside the magic of Macy’s.
Flowers from around the world adorn the aisles and doorways and the floral displays do not 
end on the main floor they go through the entire store, every floor with a different theme.

If you have a chance to visit Macy’s NYC Flower Show don’t miss this spectacular 
event taking place now through April 6th. There is something for everyone inside
