Just mention the word ballet in our house and it will be followed by numerous pirouettes and most times a full show including a tutu. Emily loves ballet and has been enrolled in dance school since she was 18 months old. As you might expect she is in love with Angelina Ballerina. This friendly little mouse splices her story with real life dancers to enhance dancing of every style.
Recently at the Toy Fair I was excited to see that Madame Alexander would be creating a line of Angelina Ballerina dolls. I knew in our house this would be big! Like mother like daughter, as a child I spent many years on the dance floor. I’m happy to share my love of ballet with my daughter and hope the tradition will continue throughout her life. Ballet and little girls just seem to go hand and hand. What little girl does not want to twirl and whirl and be free to express themselves through dance. Emily was beside herself to see the new Angelina Ballerina doll by Madame Alexander arrive. It’s her first Angelina Ballerina doll although she has been a fan forever. I could not help but add some pics of Emily at six years old at ballet followed by Mommy at six years old (many moons ago).
