Have You Seen Daddy’s Home? You Need To!! #DaddysHome @daddyshome

Daddy’s Home In Theaters Now! You Need To See This Movie, It’s Hilarious!!

daddyshomedianeLooking for a movie that will crack your family up? Grab your friends or your kids and head to the movies. You are not going to miss this one! Paramount Pictures- Daddy’s Home is the newest movie starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, featuring plenty of laughs and a story with a lot of heart. In the movie, Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell) is the step-father of a family where the children are just starting to appreciate him. Then, their biological father, Dusty Mayron (Mark Wahlberg) comes back into their lives. This event starts the ultimate rivalry between the two characters, and makes for a very interesting movie. Watch as dad vs. stepdad in this hilarious way too believable movie.

Throughout the film, Brad and Dusty compete to see who is the better father. The two characters constantly try to upstage each other, and this provides for some very comedic moments throughout the film. The movie’s supporting cast is also consistently funny, with actors such as Hannibal Buress and Thomas Haden Church delivering hilarious one-liners. This is one of the best comedies that I have seen recently.

Overall, Daddy’s Home is an extremely enjoyable movie. Seeing the movie in the same theater as Will Ferrel definitely had its perks. Turning around and seeing his family laughing along with the rest of us made it even funnier. I enjoyed seeing the movie with my family, as my two sons and I loved it. It’s pretty much safe for kids to see with you.  Rated PG13- In theaters now.

January on Netflix! Something For Everyone In Your Family! @Netflix #StreamTeam

There Is Something For Everyone In The Family This January On Netflix!

netflixjanwhoswatching

Happy January! One thing I absolutely love about Netflix is that everyone has their own privacy and choices. Unlike “On Demand” the kids are not shown show choices that are way out of their age range as they are searching for a show they want to watch. I also love how my choices are my choices and are saved. My hubby and older kids have their own choices and their own shows saved. It’s like utopia for me!

So when the new year rolled along everyone in this family was curious to see exactly what Netflix would have in store for us. Some of us love terror, others just want to laugh and some of us love ponies and Barbie…. There is A LOT in the works for this month!! We also love Netflix originals!

netflixjan1

netflixjan4S0, whatever you are into, Netflix is there for you! As for us we will be enjoying Netflix on our new Roku TV! Thanks for the awesomeness, Netflix. I can’t even begin to imagine life without you. Happy January! As for this January, our family will be taking the plunge into the unknown, we’ll be taking chances, like our favorite family, The Croods! Very soon our family is taking our yearly SKI TRIP, it’s kinda out of my own comfort zone, even though everyone else in the family counts it down. So, although I was once pretty good visiting Snowtown, I’m not sure how it’s going to go down this year. I will definitely keep you posted on the new adventure! I kinda feel like maybe they won’t let me join the team and I will have to make a team of my own….like in the pic below! Maybe I will just hang out in the lodge with some hot cocoa and my Netflix tablet. Okay, Okay, You know I won’t! I am always part of #TeamFamily So wish me luck, or maybe, wish my family luck! Here’s to taking new adventures! Do you have any new adventures you will be testing out this year? By the way, WHAT is your favorite Netflix show?? We Celebrated with Netflix New Year’s Eve! @Netflix #StreamTeam

Netflix Helped Us To Ring In The New Year!

netflixtable

Netflix has been a daily household name for the past two years. Honestly, I’m not sure what we even watched before we were introduced to Netflix! Being on the Stream Team has and is an amazing experience for our entire family. Just before New Year’s Eve a surprise box arrived from Netflix filled with goodies to help us celebrate the New Year in style and at whatever time we wanted, as posted previously. This year Netflix offered six different countdowns that could be shared with your little ones at any time of the night. Although everyone here makes it till the midnight hour we did have fun watching all of them and countdown in anticipation of 12:00 am!

As soon as our box of fun arrived, so did the fun! My daughter took it upon herself to be the official balloon blower upper! She was quite amazing at it if I do say so myself. She came up with a super idea- which was to decorate our Christmas tree with Netflix balloons, little signs of her favorite shows, streamers, blowers, etc. It looks pretty festive by the time it was done. We all loved it. Next we spruced up the kitchen table with our favorite show posters, more balloons and some choices for all of the family to party with. We even broke out the light up punch bowl and created, “Puffin Punch”! It was delicious and was a combo of juices and some fizzy waters! A perfect way to celebrate.netflixtablenetflixfountain

We also came up with a special Netflix dessert, “Project MC2 Test Tube ice cream cake sundae”. Okay, it was New Year’s Eve so any idea or recipe sounded good to me! Not to mention that it all kept with the Netflix party theme. My daughter also deemed the blowers to be Care Bear Cousins blowers, since they came in various colors!

netflixlivpartySo after we watched all six countdowns on Netflix we were more than well rehearsed when the big countdown finally arrived at 11:59pm! In our living room that I’m sure is as big as some people’s pocketbook, we partied, we laughed, we smooched, and we celebrated as a family. From the parents (us), to grandpa who’s 89, to all the kids and one girlfriend we had one of the best New Year’s Eve parties to date! And what did we do the next day on New Year’s Day….watched Netflix of course!! netflixhornblowernetflixmomanddaadFrom our family to yours: Happy New Year! Here’s wishing you all the love and happiness there is out there….and don’t forget to share some awesome movie time..and show time with your loved ones watching Netflix. There is a show for everyone!! Also, stay tuned for our next Netflix post of everything January! Netflix.com
