We are a total Disney Family! In saying that, Emily cannot wait for Disney Junior Live to hit our area. Although she is quickly growing out of the Disney Junior phase, we are totally going to go with the flow until it ends. For now, Princess Sofia is a household word around here and princesses are having tea parties. Let the magic live because it all goes by way too fast. Disney Junior Live will be here and we are already gearing up for it! Grab your tickets now because these shows usually do sell out fast!

Tickets for the New York and New Jersey area performances at Nassau Coliseum (April 3 – 4) IZOD Center (April 5 – 6), Westchester County Center (April 10 – 13) and The Theater at Madison Square Garden (April 17 – 21) are on sale now!
“The Feld Entertainment mission of providing quality live entertainment experiences that the entire family enjoys starts with Disney Live! because it is often a young fan’s first theatrical experience,” said producer Alana Feld.  “Children everywhere are falling in love with Sofia and Jake, and we are thrilled to bring these popular Disney Junior characters to the stage for the first time ever.”
In this original storyline, Mickey and Minnie lead the audience on an exciting adventure that will have families rooting for their favorite pirate Jake and Disney’s first little girl princess Sofia.Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate and Princess Adventure begins with a special interactive pre-show featuring the lovable 6-year-old doctor to toys and stuffed animals, Doc McStuffins. Children and their parents will sing “The Check-Up Song” along with Doc as she provides tender love and care.
Audiences will then embark on a journey to the magical world of Enchancia, where Sofia, her step-siblings Amber and James, and the entire kingdom are preparing for the annual friendship festival. Sofia has the honor of delivering the perfect gift to her royal subjects at the celebration, and the one-and-only Cinderella visits the castle to help Sofia in her mission to find just the right present.
The excitement continues when families cast away to Never Land where Jake and his Yo Ho pirate friends Izzy and Cubby are in a race against time to locate a mysterious treasure-filled volcano. Danger, thrills and adventure lurk around every turn when our swashbuckling friends battle Captain Hook for the ultimate prize. Peter Pan makes a special appearance, aiding the team in their heroic quest, and with the help of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, Jake and his crew fly above the stage in their journey.

#DisneySide Home Celebration Fun! @DisneyParks

What’s Your DisneySide?
#DisneSide Home Celebration
By now every Disney fan has probably heard the words Disney Side pass by their ears. Every year Disney chooses a theme, this year it’s What’s your “Disney Side”? Recently our family was chosen by Mom Select and Disney Parks to host a Disney Side Home Celebration. From the moment we were chosen it has been a whirlwind of fun. An array of party supplies arrived at our door all packed up neat into a
brand new American Tourister carry on bag. In addition to this wonderful party perk we were lucky enough to also have an additional American Tourister bag to give away at the party.
Although our original party date was overtaken by snow, we were still able to set up another
date in plenty of time.
Our party was adorned with a magnitude of Disney Side fun. We played Disney Bingo, face painted,
created Disney inspired hand drawn tees thanks to Hanes and feasted on Disney shaped snacks.
Crunch Pak was kind enough to send along some Disney shaped snack packs for everyone to enjoy!
We also played Hidden Mickey- a game where our guests were given clues to look around and find the Hidden Mickeys placed throughout the party area!
We were thrilled to have our house looking beautiful thanks to Teleflora who created original arrangements to match our Disney Princess themed area! Those fragrant roses and assorted flowers really helped all the little princesses get into the royal frame of mind. Speaking of royal, we were lucky enough to have two royal guests at our party, Cinderella’s Pumpkin and Ariel’s Treasure. They are Build A Bear’s newest creations from  Disney Palace Pets. Two of our lucky little princess guests left our home with the hugest smiles on their faces! Of course they were not the only guests smiling, there were smiles all around as people shared their favorite Disney vacation stories and Disney moments. It was a night of feasting, fun, family and friends where everyone was able to share their Disney Side!
What’s your Disney Side?
You can host your own Disney Side Home Celebration and join in on all the fun.

GIVEAWAY: 2 SETS OF BATMAN DC COMICS 11″ UGLYDOLLS BY GUND @FromtheBC

GIVEAWAY: 2 SETS OF BATMAN DC COMICS 11″ UGLYDOLLS BY GUND @FromtheBCIMG_1302

One of my favorite Batman product lines showcased at the 2014 New York Toy Fair was Gund’s 11″ UglyDoll lineup. Based on classic superheroes from DC Comics like Batman and Robin (amongothers), the plush toys are a great homage to the comics and characters we all know and love.

DC COMICS – Blue Batman Ice Bat features my favorite Batsuit– the iconic blue and grey suit popularized by Neal Adams and Denny O’Neil in the 70′s. UglyDoll’s Ice Bat looks great in the outfit, and the plush is quite a nice addition to any Bat-Fan’s collection. IMG_1298
DC Comics – Robin Wedgehead, part of the most recent wave of DC Comics-inspired UglyDolls, uses the classic Dick Grayson Robin costume of the same era to render the Robin everyone knows best as only UglyDoll can. Wedgehead was a good choice for Robin, and the plush is a natural fit beside the Batman Ice Bat (particularly the blue one!)

DC COMICS – Black Batman Ice Bat appears to borrow from Batman’s costume in the New 52, bringing it in line with the current run of Batman comics. As with the Blue Batman Ice Bat, UglyDoll definitely went with the right character from their lineup for this plush.
UglyDoll’s Batman-inspired DC Comics plush are soft, great quality, and perfect for Bat-fans of all ages. They are durable and cuddly, and an excellent choice for the young and young at heart alike!
