FreezeDon’t dread winter – embrace it! When we heard about Frozen in Ice in NJ the entire family was pretty happy. We cannot wait to check it out! You can, too!  Skylands Stadium, North Jersey’s newest event venue and home to the Sussex County Miners professional baseball team, today announced that during the month of February it will host an exciting new attraction called Frozen in Ice, the stadium’s first-ever ice sculpture extravaganza, with 100 tons of breathtaking, sculpted displays that will thrill both children and adults.
“Frozen in Ice celebrates the beauty and elegance of winter, with awe-inspiring exhibits and ‘cool’ activities for the whole family. Bring the kids and let them slide down the huge 50-foot-long ice slide, tour an ice cabin, and take a selfie while sitting on a giant-sized throne,” said Al Dorso, President of Skylands Stadium. “There will also be a gold-mine maze, featuring old-fashioned gold miners as well as Miners baseball players, all sculpted in ice by the area’s leading ice sculpture artists.” The indoor exhibit at the Skylands Stadium Event Center will also include an all-ice horse-drawn carriage, working lighthouse, carved boat, an ice bar and ice lounge complete with cocktails and wine tasting for adults. Kids and adults can test their skills at carnival games. Cupa Cabana will be serving hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino and espresso. @DisneyOnIce Princesses and Heroes At Prudential Center Thru January 19th #DisneyOnIce @PruCenter

Disney On Ice Princesses and Heroes At Prudential Center Through Monday January 19th Looking for something fun to do during this crazy rainy, icy weekend. Disney On Ice is at Prudential Center, Newark has shows today(Sunday) and tomorrow(Monday). You can grab the kids and have some Princess and Heroes fun. We had a blast on opening night of the show. Personally, it was one of my favorites since Em is so big into Disney Princesses. Of course she dressed the part, which was a first for her. We usually just go in regular clothes (Disney themed of course), but this time she opted for the her new Frozen Elsa gown that Santa recently delivered. We took full advantage of the moment and headed for the photo opp. So pleasantly surprised that the pic including the Frozen frame was $20 flat. That’s okay to have the memory captured forever. What a great time we had waving to all of our Disney friends and singing along to all of our favorite Disney tunes. At Prudential Center in Newark, NJ through January 19th! PS: The last scene is awesome for all of your Frozen fans!
