A Glimpse Into Our Techlicious Lunch
During CE Week NYC

Recently NYC celebrated Electronics like no one else could, with CE Week! I was thrilled to be invited and treated to a private luncheon at BLT Fish, one of NYC’s finest restaurants, hosted by Techlicious . The lunch included special presentations of the leading products and services from LG, and TripIt, Phillips as well as one-on-one time with representatives from those companies.
LG showcased there latest televisions front and center, which HDTV lines were a major CE Week 2014 hit. Of course being a superfan of LG for many years, I knew I would absolutely adore whatever they were showcasing. Particularly interesting was their 55” Class 1080p Smart 3D OLED TV, the 3D capabilities were to die for, built-in wi-fi,and LG’s 4-color pixel technology. Did I mention that for the very first time there is “infinite” contrast ratio? The OLED TV also includes a wall mount that resembles a frame that is perfect for viewing art since it does come with a gallery mode. That will be a huge hit in our family and anyone that loves viewing their galleries! This feature also doubles as a speaker to keep the television itself nice and thin. Bravo! LG, You have done it again!!
Phillips’ presentation concentrated on their audio devices, which quite honestly I can never ever ever get enough of! Their line of water-resistant sports headphones can even be washed without damage to the product! This is a must for my family! They also revealed two different types of portable handheld speakers, and headphones of various styles. The price points were varied so the entire family could enjoy what’s new. Phillips also demonstrated a television of their own and much more.
Triplt was there also and it was a first for me. I had never really heard about them before. They showcased the trip planning services that serves as the basis for their site. TripIt, seems to be, “the world’s easiest travel organizing app,” was founded in October 2006, and has been making people’s lives easier ever since. Travelers can get an itinerary just by forwarding an e-mail, and also access their plans anywhere, anytime, and on any device. The way this family travels, I was completely impressed by Triplt! I have had the pleasure of testing it out since the luncheon and it does live up to its claims! Plan your next trip with Triplt.
