Put Your Spinjitzu Skills to the Test,

Help the Ninjas Save New Ninjago City From the Evil Digital Overlord

To say that our family is a gamer family would be an understatement. Since the time I met hubby he was a gamer many many moons ago. Back then I was really not into it, but after being married almost 25 years and having three kids, I guess you could say I got used to it and even learned to love a lot of the games! Although there are many games that are hard for my average gamer skills to master, I do LOVE the Lego ones! Personally our family has been waiting for Lego Ninjago; Nindroids since we first heard about it’s release! Today is the day we have been waiting for and since my doorbell just rang and my copy was delivered I will be taking time to crack it open and check it out on our Nintendo 3DS. There is nothing like a Lego video game! This one looks especially awesome!

The heroes of LEGO Ninjago are ready to battle! “Adding LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids to our popular LEGO Ninjago franchise is very exciting,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games.  “Hellbent Games has delivered the action game Ninjago fans have been waiting for – with all the characters, comedy and thrills that make the it such a success.”
Based on the first five episodes of the animated television series “NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu,” the LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids videogame takes players to New Ninjago City where the Ninja face a technological threat by the evil Digital Overlord and his robotic army of Nindroids.  Playing as their favorite Ninja – Jay, Zane, Cole, Kai or Lloyd – players battle through more than 30 exciting levels with cool vehicles, signature weapons and the new Technoblades, all the while partaking in missions to help save the city.
Players will recognize their favorite LEGO building sets as they gear up as Samurai X, shoot down enemies in Zane’s Ninjacopter, dodge missiles in the Kai Fighter, pilot Jay’s Thunder Raider, smash up the streets in Cole’s Earth Mech and tear through the forest on Lloyd’s Golden Cycle. Alongside intense combat, players can visit the New Ninjago City Hub, home to Grand Sensei Dareth’s Mojo Dojo, Doomsday Comix and Mr. Noodle’s Noodle Bar.
Developed by Hellbent Games in partnership with TT Games, LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is now available for Nintendo 3DS for the suggested retail price of $29.99 and PS®Vita for a suggested retail price of $29.99. LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids is rated “E10+ for ages 10 and up”.

Six Flags Great Adventure Celebrated First Sea Lion Pup BORN at the Theme Park! #sixflags #NJ #VisitNJ

Six Flags Great Adventure Celebrated

First Sea Lion Pup BORN at the Theme Park!
Who can resist a tiny newborn animal? In our house it’s always a topic of conversation when new little ones are born at any zoo or theme park, so when we heard about Six Flags Great Adventure’s baby news we could not help but share the excitement! We can’t wait to go and see this little pup for ourselves! Welcome to the world, Kona! We already love you! Six Flags Great Adventure celebrates the first sea lion pup born at the world’s largest theme park. The healthy male pup named “Kona” weighed approximately 18 pounds at birth June 25, and now weighs in at 33 pounds at one month of age.
Kona is the park’s fifth California sea lion. Mother Anoki successfully delivered her first pup under the careful observation of the park’s veterinary and animal care teams at Seafari Theater in the park’s Golden Kingdom section. At four days old, Kona began learning how to use his flippers and developed a signature call with his mother. Anoki continues to nurse her pup, and has proven to be an excellent mother.
“Kona is becoming more proficient at swimming and has begun teething. Similar to human babies, Kona puts anything in his mouth, most often his flippers,” said Jessica Peranteau, senior supervisor of animal training.
Six Flags expects big things from its first-born sea lion. “Kona means ‘world ruler’ in Gaelic, and it also happens to be his mother’s nickname when spelled backwards,” Peranteau added.
Kona and Anoki can be seen daily in the Seafari Theater, making appearances in the underwater viewing pool during the Asian small-clawed otter presentations, “You Otter Know.” Kona’s father, Kenobi, along with female sea lions Dichali and Ella, can be found at the park’s Fort Independence Theater in an educational presentation called “Fish Factor.”
