Well, I think I missed one the other day…!

The Empire State Building will also be hosting its annual Independence Day Celebration at the world-famous 86th Floor Observatory from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.  Ticket holders will be provided with VIP private access to the 80th Floor “Dare to Dream” exhibit and 86th Floor Observatory, which will be closed to the general public at approximately 6:30 p.m. and reopen at 10:00 p.m. following the fireworks show. A DJ will provide the soundtrack to the evening and a TV screen will be set up for a simulcast of the fireworks display.

“Rules For Being A Kid Guidebook”
for Free Right Here!

Back when we were kids, we all had rules on how to be a kid. Although times have changed, there is something that remains the same, Kids will be kids! Kids are always making rules. As a former classroom teacher that spent twenty years with kids, I can tell you first hand that if there is a kid around there is a rule being made. Step out into any playground, on the court, in a park and you will find kids making rules. Recently Popsicle hosted a contest where kids were able to send it their own “Rules for Being a Kid”. I’m excited to share the official downloadable “Rules for Being a Kid” guidebook, to encourage families to get creative and celebrate the fun of what it means to be a kid this summer! This fun guide completely written by kids will make your summer even better. Thanks Popsicle for coming up with such an awesome kid friendly idea! No wonder we love you so much!

As you’ll recall, only Original Brand Popsicle pops can bring out the kid-at-heart in all of us, so they asked families across the country to help compile a guidebook of the top “rules” for how to have fun like a kid – whether it’s owning a tutu in every color or running through the sprinklers to cool off. Select rules were featured in the guidebook and have been entered for the chance to win $500 and to have their “rule” on future, limited-edition boxes of Popsicle pops! Even celebrities like Brooke Burke, Peter Facinelli and Holly Robinson Peete helped spread the word!

Spring Hill Suites King Of Prussia PA @SpringHillSuite

Spring Hill Suites King Of Prussia PA
Spring Hill Suites Does It Again! A Name You Can Count On!
As you may have noticed, our family does a huge amount of traveling. It seems sometimes that we just stop in at home to change suitcases and we are back out the door. Summer is pretty busy for us but we do try to get in one #RoadTrip2Fun where everyone just gets to choose a place and off we go.
This year the fun started in Pa. We were off to King of Prussia, Pa. Honestly, I have never been there before so I had no idea what the area would be like. That makes choosing a hotel a little nerveracking.
There are times I just dread stopping for the night wondering what the hotel of choice will be and having it run through my mind forever hoping that we land in a clean place and everything will be up to par.
One hotel our family always agrees on is the Spring Hill Suites. They have a record with us of 100% when it comes to clean and being on top of things. Of course every hotel is a little different, so until I’m actually in the room, I don’t ever comment on things.
Upon arriving at the Spring Hill Suites in King of Prussia things seemed pretty normal. We checked in easily and the manager on duty could not have been any nicer. Then we got up to the room. BRAVO! Spring Hill Suites did it again. It was like a magic trick. The room was amazingly crispy clean and  very very welcoming!
It was another dream come true. Our family of five settled in and then realized that at 10:30 at night we had not eaten dinner. We called down the front desk for suggestions. They were so helpful and did not stop with ideas until the delivery man arrived in the lobby! We have stayed at some hotels where they just refer you to the directory. Not this one. We were treated like family. The staff really cared about us and it showed.
Of course the hotel came with all of the basics of a wonderful lobby, exercise room, business room, pool, etc, but there is more to a hotel than what’s in it. If the staff does not care about you, there is something missing.
In the morning we woke up refreshed and ready for the inclusive breakfast. This is a real perk when you are traveling with your family. Who wants to go out and try to find somewhere to eat breakfast when you can dine right within the hotel.
Not to mention having to leave the hotel and come back and then check out. The Spring Hill Suites has it down pat. Their breakfast can rival any of the local eateries. There was literally something for everyone. The one tip I will give you after staying in quite a few Spring Hill Suites is find out the night before what time the breakfast is over. No matter where we have stayed from Pa to Florida and back, when breakfast is done, it’s done. They have a strict cut off and they hold to it. You can’t blame them, keeping things “just right” is what they are all about. Find out more about the hotel here:
Although the room is huge, these two always end up next to each other
for online time.
If you are traveling to the King of Prussia area of Pa or the Philly area, this Spring Hill Suites would be perfect for you. If you are spending the day at the King of Prussia Mall this would be a perfect ending.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and stand by my decision 100%. A few days after this we stayed with a different hotel chain and I was not thrilled at all. I realized then that all of the hotels we stay at are being held up to the standards of Spring Hill Suites. Congrats Spring Hill Suites King of Prussia. You excelled in cleanliness, helpfulness and yumminess! If we are in the area again we will be back, promise. Thank you for making us feeling like we were “Coming home”…..
Disclosure: SpringHillSuites King of Prussia, Pa hosted our family for this wonderful stay.
