Summer may have just begun, but around here we are already thinking about the holidays. Is it ever too early to get that list started? Personally, I am always thinking about what Santa will leave under the tree, what everyone in the family would love and what I can surprise friends with on their birthdays along the way.
Recently I was thrilled to be invited to Walmart’s Holiday Preview. Yes, please! Our family loves Walmart.
Since we live on the same street as our local Walmart, it has become our “run to for everything” store. 
It doesn’t hurt that is is open 24/7 and you can order online and pick it up at the store for free!
But, with all of that aside- there is never a bad time for me to check out all of the season’s new products that will be available for everyone in your family this holiday season. The only thing missing was a shopping kart!
In my head I was thinking, “Oh, this will be great for hubby!”, “This will be great for Em!”, “This will be great for….Well, you get it. Of course I was also thinking about all the things that would be great for me! 
Walmart is a definite one stop shopping when it comes to the holidays. 
There literally was something for everyone on my list! Jewelry and fashion choices that could fancy up any outfit. Cell phone purses, scarves, necklaces were at the top of my list. As for hubby and the boys- there was plenty to choose from including gaming systems, nabi, gaming/tech chairs with speaker systems within the chairs. Now that will make an awesome gift for any gamer or movie watcher. It would be a definite hit in my house.
There were toys galore! Santa could surely stop by Walmart this holiday season and save the elves a lot of extra work! We all know that Frozen will be topping out on requests by the little ones and Walmart will have you covered in every way. Frozen blankets, clothing, hats, toys, you name it and Walmart has it. One tip-I would shop early this year. We all know how popular many of the brands are and you will want to get yours right away just to be sure you have it and are not doing the crazy run around as the clock ticks closer and closer to the holidays.
As for our foodie friends, they will be extremely thrilled to see the gorgeous holiday and winter line of serving bowls, platters and more. The appliances were to die for, especially the popcorn popper that’s top part is a serving bowl. How easy! Who would not want that for a gift! Walmart will have everything to spruce up kitchen and make inviting people over for the holidays a breeze to do! Who loves fireworks!!!????? I know my family does, especially when they are right here in New Jersey! State Fair Meadowlands offers the best fireworks west of the Hudson on July 3rd and 4th For two nights of spectacular lights, sounds and color to mark the nation’s birthday. How can anyone in the area resist!? Red, White, and Blue and every color in between will light up the skies over the meadowlands! This year’s fireworks will be put on by Garden State Fireworks, a company run by the Santore family of New Jersey for over 100 years.

About State Fair
State Fair Meadowlands is the largest fair in the New York metro area, with over 150 rides and attractions on over 35 acres of fairgrounds.
Fair hours are Monday through Thursday, 6 pm to midnight; Fridays 6 pm to 1 am; Saturdays 2 pm to 1 am; Sundays 2 pm to midnight. On Thursday, July 3, the fair is open 6 pm to 1 am; on Friday, July 4 from 2 pm to 1 am.
Parking is free Monday through Wednesday, and $5 Thursdays through Sundays.
