Okay, so what is really more adorable than a rubber duckie? We are pretty much rubber duckie obsessed in this house. We have princess ducks and ducks with names, moustache ducks and pink ducks, too! When I heard about Disney’s Lucky Duck I could not wait to find out more! I think we will must likely have Lucky Duck as part of our collection very soon! We are already in love! On Friday, June 20, Disney Junior will debut “Lucky Duck,” the first Disney Junior Original Movie, about a group of misfit tub toys in search of the kids who will love them just the way they are.  Leading the voice cast are Broadway and television stars Christian Borle, Megan Hilty and Tom Cavanagh.
The story introduces an unflappable rubber ducky with a broken squeaker named Lucky (voiced by Borle) and two kindred spirits – an extroverted hippo with mis-matched eyes named Flo (voiced by Hilty) and a timid turtle named Snap (voiced by Cavanagh) – as the they find themselves stranded at sea when the cargo ship they are being transported on is caught in a storm.Showcasing its musical theater cast, “Lucky Duck” features six original songs, including the ballad “I’m a Lucky Duck,” the up-tempo “Tub Toy Twist” and the heartfelt “Friends Will See You Through.”“Lucky Duck” premieres Friday, June 20 on Disney Junior (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) and Saturday, June 21 on Disney Channel (9:00 a.m., ET/PT).  It will be available for verified users on the WATCH Disney Junior app for smartphones and tablets and on WATCHDisneyJunior.com beginning Friday, June 6.  On Monday, June 16, DisneyJunior.com/LuckyDuck will launch with the online puzzle game “Tub Toy Tumble.

Recently our family was invited to the blowout world premiere of Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. at Discovery Times Square, NYC, in association with Victory Hill Exhibitions and Marvel Entertainment and in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Academy of Sciences.This new exhibition is based on the global box-office smash film franchise: Marvel’s The Avengers, is now up and running at Discovery Times Square in New York City. Before I go any further, let me tell you I can sum it up in one word: Fantastic!

 
Honestly, we had no idea on what to expect. Having two sons, I am no stranger to Marvel’s Avengers for sure. Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) is a completely immersive, interactive exhibit experience that brings visitors into the world of The Avengers. Leading EdTech innovator Gamedesk created S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based educational pathways for the exhibition, bringing to life the science behind Marvel Super Heroes and allows fans to participate in a simulated recruitment, as if they were being trained as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I knew my sons and hubby would love it, but I was not sure if it would hold the interest of my daugher and myself. Well, it did. You can definitely bring the entire family. Em and I had plenty to do! Visitors of all ages are exclusively recruited to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and enter the official S.T.A.T.I.O.N. headquarters. Exhibition-goers are then taken deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe where they will experience first-hand the vast array of intelligence files, classified studies, and experiments that explores the history and scientific origins of Marvel’s The Avengers including Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and others. Visitors will also be given unprecedented access to some of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most highly guarded artifacts recovered after the Battle of New York such as Captain America’s Birth Pod, the Tesseract Portal Device, Loki’s Scepter, a hermetically sealed Chitauri and more.


If you are in the NYC area or planning to visit NYC, definitely add Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N to your list of things to do! You will not regret it and either will your family. Visit by yourself, with your family or your friends. It’s not something you will want to miss out on! NASA, the Science & Entertainment Exchange program of the National Academy of Sciences, Neuroverse, and Thwacke are all collaborating on Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. Exhibition visitors will map out the stars to find Asgard, learn to operate Iron Man’s suit, witness the neurological effects of Bruce Banner’s transformation into the Hulk, and physically test themselves against Captain America.
