Summer’s Fun For Everyone Series ALEX Toys Is A Perfect Solution For Kids This Summer
Ever year when summer rolls around our family is in search of fun things to do. Since my daughter does not attend any summer camps, the job is mine to find ways to keep her entertained along with a twinge of learning something new. You can’t even imagine how thrilled I was to find out all about ALEX. I’m really not sure how they have not been a part of our lives sooner. As a family of brands, ALEX BRANDS includes some of the most iconic names in the toy industry, including ALEX TOYS , POOF®, SLINKY®, SCIENTIFIC EXPLORER®, IDEAL® and ZOOB®. From classic, timeless toys and games to open-ended activities that emphasize children’s developmental needs. ALEX BRANDS lends itself to a lifestyle of creative and active play.
Emily decided to try out the ALEX Giant Knot & Stitch Pillow. Now that Em is almost eight years old, we are changing things up this summer and looking for items that are great for her age, tweens and older. She immediately loved all the many pieces that came inside the box. I loved that everything you needed to complete the project was inside the box. We could not wait to get started. When doing this project, I would highly recommend that you get all of the pieces out of the box and become familiar with what you need for each stage. It’s easier to organize at the beginning that try to figure it all out later. The directions for this project were clear and easy for any child to complete alone or with the help of someone. Emily did need guidance when it came to the sewing part, but with help she was able to get the job done by herself and felt pretty proud of what she had accomplished! I was also proud of her, and of myself for helping her to sew with her very first needle and thread. This is a life skill that she will need for the future.
