Well, after intense website study, Emily chose the Bitty Baby that most resembled her as a baby, light skinned, brown hair, green eyes. She does not realize but she was just about the size of a Bitty Baby when she was born at just a teeny 5lbs.

Emily could not wait for the box to arrive in the mail. It was not long before it was at our doorstep and opened immediately! As a mom, I always take that deep breath and wonder if she would like her new doll or play with her for five minutes and toss it to the side. I think she loved the new Bitty Baby before we even unboxed her! Thanks for adding a little more love into my daughter’s live, American Girl!

As we unboxed this new treasure, we were both wondering exactly what was new and different about this little baby. The first thing we realized was that the book was so much bigger and hard covered. Yes! Both of us loved this immediately. The story, Bitty Baby and Me is adorable and we have read it over and over and over! Another change is the Wishing Star that comes with every new Bitty Baby. Everyone loves to make a wish, right?

“Make a wish to be your best. Your inner Star will do the rest!”. As a mom, I just adore this special wish saying. The Bitty Baby comes dressed in a pajamas with the same little wishing star scattered over the them. She also comes wearing her very own cloth diaper.
