We have passes for you
One Direction, This Is Us, A Motion Picture Event, opens in theaters 
August 30th, but we have special passes that will get you into the NYC screening 
this Saturday,!
My daughter has not hit the One Direction craze yet, but I can see it coming very soon.
Anywhere you see One Direction you can see the hysteria they seems to surround them.
This movie looks like it’s going to be so energizing and amazing!
Not to mention that you will get to see it August 3rd instead of August 30th!!
For any One Direction fan this is going to be the treat of a lifetime!
PLEASE NOTE that passes do not guarantee a seat. You must arrive early and there will be a cut off on tickets according to theater seats. I think arriving an hour early should do it, although if you are a BIG One Direction fan I would arrive even earlier so that you definitely get it! You are not going to miss this one!

This summer has been slipping by at record speed! Before you know it everyone will beback at school and the leaves will be falling all around us. Well, honestly I am trying to savor the rest of the summer days and make them last as long as possible! One thing I love about living in the tri-state area is how close we are to so many attractions. One of our family’s favorites is Sesame Place. We have frequented the park for too many years to count and still love it. Since we are less than two hours away, we can make it a day trip if we’d like to but who doesn’t like to stay overnight!?
Our family was thrilled to become acquainted with the Springhill Suites that is directly
across the street from Sesame Place. The location is amazing and you can walk right from your
room into the park on a path that will lead you right up to the front gates of Sesame Place.
That really equates to a no hassle policy for families when it comes to strollers and sleeping children.
We also love the room style at Springhill Suites. There is nothing worse than everyone being piled up on 
top of each other when you finally get back to the room. At Springhill Suites there is plenty of room to breathe and take a break. The room has a mini office divider in the middle and a mini fridge and microwave.
Everything you need to make your trip comfortable you can find at Springhill Suites, Langhorne, PA.

They even have a Sesame Place themed play room for the little ones to enjoy!
Did I mention that breakfast is included? It is so delicious. If you stay there please do not miss out.
There is something for everyone from yummy waffles, to fresh fruit and of course, coffee!
If you are visiting Sesame Place this is a perfect choice for accommodations. It’s also close to Philadelphia in case you are thinking of making the trip into a few days. 
We have stayed at Springhill suites during the summer and fall and loved it at both seasons!
If you are looking for a great choice you can’t go wrong with this hotel!

Green Giant Introduces Veggie Snacks #GiantFlavor

Being a mom of three constantly make me come face to face with snacks for the family. Since my children are 6, 14, and 22, it really needs to be something we all can enjoy as a family. We don’t generally have the house stocked with crunchies, but the kids are always wanting to bring them in. Recently, I was thrilled to find out about Green Giant’s new Veggie Snacks! I’m just an ordinary mom, so I’m not an expert on what all the ingredients are but I since I have always stuck by the Green Giant name, I decided to give them a try!

Now, I know they are not a substitute for vegetables of course, but since they come from Green Giant they at least have to be healthier than picking at chips all day long. I was a bit curious myself to give them a try. As for my kids, they are always up for the crunch test! First off; Green Giant Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips equals delicious! They are whole grain and have the taste of garden fresh veggies combined with a crunchy chip taste. If you like chips, you will love these! Honestly, when I opened them with the entire family present to test them out, I was wishing I was alone. The bag may or may not have just disappeared!
Second bag up was Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips Barbecue-Yes, please! They were delicious, too. The perfect blend of sweet potatoes and barbecue is amazing to the taste buds.

Now, if you are looking for a great way to serve them at a party or while watching a movie at home, this was a Bingo at our house! The best part is it so easy to make, but you will look like a kitchen hero!

Ingredients: One bag of Green Giant Veggie Chips, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped red or green pepper, lettuce, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Place chips into baking pan(or if you are like me, I make everything in the toaster oven), sprinkle onions, peppers, and cheese and bake for 5-7 minutes. Take it out of the oven and lay portions on little beds of lettuce. Yum! You will love it, we did!

My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle

Our family has been long time fans of Build-A-Bear Workshop and have spent many 
happy days there making new friends. Recently we were invited to experience making 
the newly introduced My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle. After years of being a mom
of boys, the whole My Little Pony is all new to me. Emily loves My Little Pony and can name 
every pony that crosses the screen, so when I mentioned that Princess Twilight Sparkle would be coming to Build-A-Bear I thought she was going to jump through the ceiling. Saying she was excited is an understatement. I of course was thinking in the back of my head that the night would be a dream come true for my little girl or any little girl who loves My Little Pony. I could not have been more right. 
Stepping into Build-A-Bear is like stepping into happiness. We visited the NYC store location.
It’s a huge Build-A-Bear store and one of our family’s favorites to frequent. From the warm welcome at the door I knew we would have a wonderful time. Emily immediately eyed up My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle who was found front and center. It became available on August 1st and I’m sure will be a big hit. 
There were a few children walking around the store holding onto their own as we continued onto our night of fun.Soon after grabbing onto Princess Twilight Sparkle it was time to get to the stuffing station. Emily chose a beating heart, and a sound chip that played the My Little Pony theme song. Before stuffing, she added in a strawberry scented chip. It took a few minutes to decide exactly what scent to choose, but I am beginning to think that strawberry is her favorite. Then the stuffing ritual began with giving the little heart that would go inside of her new friend a kiss, a rub on the head for happy memories, and a few spins. 
Before you knew it Princess Twilight Sparkle was stuffed and came to life right before our eyes.
From the moment the pony was put into Emily’s arms you could just see the love as my daughter’s eyes
sparkled with happiness.
She gave her new friend a big hug and they were off to the Fluff Me station for a little tubby scrub. A few minutes later we were thinking fashion and heading to find some great clothes to dress up Princess Twilight Sparkle. There were a few choices that are specifically made just for My Little Pony. Emily chose a cape and crown. We were all thrilled to find out Spike was available, too! She also chose pink glitter shoes, roller skates and a leash so she could pull Princess Twilight Sparkle all around. We all loved the roller skating idea. It took a few minutes for her to get the hang of it, I mean it’s tough for a pony who has never been on skates, right? Within minutes Princess Twilight Sparkle was a pro at skating and took a spin around the entire store- Emily with leash in hand. Priceless! As for me, I was wishing that moment would last forever. It is truly a memory I will want to hang onto for a long, long time. Build-A-Bear is magical for the children and just as magical for the parents! Check out Build-A-Bear online.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester heads to the beach to build sandcastles – LEGO sandcastles, that is – at a special free class on the boardwalk led by the attraction’s Master Model Builder David Howard on Thursday, August 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rye Playland Beach Boardwalk (100 Playland Pkwy) in Rye. This special build celebrates the opening of a temporary LEGO beach installation in LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester’s MINILAND, which will be on display now through Labor Day Weekend.
Participating children will build a LEGO sandcastle and get tips on creating with LEGO bricks from David. LEGOLAND Discovery CenterWestchester will supply the LEGO bricks. A group of three-foot LEGO figures will also be in attendance in their best beach outfits to meet the crowds, join the fun and soak up the sun.
The event is free and appropriate for children ages 5-10: children must be accompanied by an adult or their older teen sibling(s).
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is a 32,300 square-foot indoor attraction featuring more than 3 million LEGO bricks, geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families.  Its range of educational and interactive attractions will include hands-on play areas, a 4D cinema, master classes led by Master Model Builders, two LEGO amusement rides, special party rooms and MINILAND — the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of LEGO bricks.
