Build-A-Bear Workshop Introduces 
My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle
And Giveaway
Our family has been long time fans of Build-A-Bear Workshop and have spent many 
happy days there making new friends. Recently we were invited to experience making 
the newly introduced My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle. After years of being a mom
of boys, the whole My Little Pony is all new to me. Emily loves My Little Pony and can name 
every pony that crosses the screen, so when I mentioned that Princess Twilight Sparkle would be coming to Build-A-Bear I thought she was going to jump through the ceiling. Saying she was excited is an understatement. I of course was thinking in the back of my head that the night would be a dream come true for my little girl or any little girl who loves My Little Pony. I could not have been more right. 
Stepping into Build-A-Bear is like stepping into happiness. We visited the NYC store location.
It’s a huge Build-A-Bear store and one of our family’s favorites to frequent. From the warm welcome at the door I knew we would have a wonderful time. Emily immediately eyed up My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle who was found front and center. It became available on August 1st and I’m sure will be a big hit. 
There were a few children walking around the store holding onto their own as we continued onto our night of fun.Soon after grabbing onto Princess Twilight Sparkle it was time to get to the stuffing station. Emily chose a beating heart, and a sound chip that played the My Little Pony theme song. Before stuffing, she added in a strawberry scented chip. It took a few minutes to decide exactly what scent to choose, but I am beginning to think that strawberry is her favorite. Then the stuffing ritual began with giving the little heart that would go inside of her new friend a kiss, a rub on the head for happy memories, and a few spins. 
Before you knew it Princess Twilight Sparkle was stuffed and came to life right before our eyes.
From the moment the pony was put into Emily’s arms you could just see the love as my daughter’s eyes
sparkled with happiness.
She gave her new friend a big hug and they were off to the Fluff Me station for a little tubby scrub. A few minutes later we were thinking fashion and heading to find some great clothes to dress up Princess Twilight Sparkle. There were a few choices that are specifically made just for My Little Pony. Emily chose a cape and crown. We were all thrilled to find out Spike was available, too! She also chose pink glitter shoes, roller skates and a leash so she could pull Princess Twilight Sparkle all around. We all loved the roller skating idea. It took a few minutes for her to get the hang of it, I mean it’s tough for a pony who has never been on skates, right? Within minutes Princess Twilight Sparkle was a pro at skating and took a spin around the entire store- Emily with leash in hand. Priceless! As for me, I was wishing that moment would last forever. It is truly a memory I will want to hang onto for a long, long time. Build-A-Bear is magical for the children and just as magical for the parents! Check out Build-A-Bear online.
