Giveaway: It’s a LeSportSac Summer Around Here!
Summer is in full swing around our house and this year we were lucky enough to plan a 
trip to Cape May, NJ. Although the Jersey Shore #STTS (Stronger Than The Storm) took quite a hit from Hurricane Sandy back in October you would never know it from the looks of the beautiful beach and boardwalk of Victorian Cape May. We roomed at the family friendly Camelot with an ocean view that is located just across the way from the boardwalk.  As always when I am heading to the shore area I always like to “beach things up” with the perfect swimsuits, towels, footwear and of course bags! This year was easy peazy thanks to LeSportSac. Thanks to them we headed to the beach in style! The Cabana Striped LeSportSac backpack was wonderful for all of our beach needs. I had never taken a backpack to the beach before and now I will never go without one! This bag is so light to carry, is water resistant and has pockets all over the outside and inside. The towels, lotions, water bottles, headphones, books and more were easily held all within one backpack. It also closed up easy for a quick pick up and carry.
As far as a the bag that I was carrying off the beach, I ended up taking it on the beach, too!
It was too cute to leave in the room! The island feel of the straw stitched flowers and Aloha
really brought me back to my island travel and buying hand weaved bags from the street vendors.
Not to mention that the inside of the bag is just as adorable as the outside with its blue backed island palm tree scene. It’s like opening your back to a breath of fresh air that you can experience again and again. Bravo LeSportSac! You really nailed the island feel on this one! 
Now, as you already know, I have two sons and a daughter, so it’s always
a test when I get something new that it does not get destroyed or spilled on within minutes. 
If you have kids, you know what I mean? I am happy to report that the LeSportSac bags 
clean up very easily and do not stain. We did have a soda spill on the beach blanket that hit 
the backpack and wiped right off. At the end of our vacation you never would have known that 
the bags were on the beach for a few days. 
The good news is that you do not have to be heading to a beachy location to add a summer bag to your collection. Since the beach the backpack has come in so handy, I feel like I can’t go anywhere without it- whether we are heading to the museum, the zoo, or to the mall. It is a definite carry all.

Huggies MomInspired Grant Program Launches Annual Search for Best New Products
Inspired by Parents and Babies
Being a parent can give us all great insight into situations we never even knew existed during our baby free years of life. I’m pretty versed when it comes to parenting, after all I’ve been at it for twenty-two years now with my oldest son being twenty-two and my youngest daughter only six years old. Along the way I have thought of many ways to make the path easier for other parents and parents to be. Thanks to Huggies MomInspired Grant Program ideas that we all have can go from the thought in your head to the store shelves, or pretty close. Huggies MomInspired Grant Program will offer twelve lucky moms a $15,000 grant to let their ideas sore. What an amazing opportunity for moms(or anyone over age 21) everywhere. The time is now, don’t wait!
Four million babies are born each year and more than 84 percent of “mompreneurs” said they developed their big ideas after becoming a parent1. The Huggies MomInspired Grant Program – now in its fourth year – is here to help turn those dreams into a reality.  
Applications can be submitted at www.HuggiesMomInspired.com. Huggies will award $15,000 grants to up to 12 people to explore and grow their innovative product ideas that help make parents’ lives easier. We all need things to be easier, don’t we? Winners will receive business advice from Maria Bailey, author, radio and TV personality and founder of BSMMedia.com, as well as support from Kimberly-Clark.
“The Huggies MomInspired Grant Program was created because we saw the need to help fund women-owned businesses and start-ups, but the grant is open to anyone who has an innovative baby or child care product or idea – it is not limited to only Moms or women,” said Kelly Stephenson, Huggies senior brand manager.  “We are looking forward to adding a new group of creative winners to the Huggies MomInspired family and giving them the opportunity to grow their innovative ideas and businesses.” Don’t let this pass you by.

·         Who: Anyone with an original, innovative and viable new product idea to help make life easier for parents; must be 21 and older and reside in the United States

·         Why: For the chance to receive $15,000 and advice to help start or grow your business idea
MomInspired Success Stories:
This year’s grant recipients will join 32 others who have continued to develop their winning ideas, products and succeed in small business – from faucet accessories to help little ones wash their hands to wall-mounted diaper dispensers that create a quick and mess-free diaper changing environment.
A past winner, Lauren Levy, continues to experience success with Magnificent Baby – a clothing line that uses special Smart Close magnetic fasteners to make dressing and changing baby faster and easier. Since winning the grant, her business has tripled in sales every year and is now carried nationally in more than 3,000 boutiques and department stores and in more than 15 countries.
Romy Taormina is a 2011 grant recipient for Psi Bands, award-winning acupressure wrist bands for the relief of nausea associated with morning sickness during pregnancy. They are now sold at more than 13,000 major retailers across the country.
