R5 Makes Coaster Riding a Family Affair Before Memorial 

Day Weekend Performance at Six Flags Great Adventure

What did you do this past Memorial Day Weekend? We spent the day with family and friends and are looking forward to visiting Six Flags Great Adventure very soon. But, Pop rock band R5 took on Six Flags Great Adventure’s world record-breaking coasters before taking the stage in the Plymouth Rock Assurance® Arena Sunday evening as part of the MIKE AND IKE® ZOURS® Six Flags Summer Concert Series. Siblings and band members Ross, Rocky, Rydel and Riker Lynch and drummer Ellington Ratliff were joined by parents and friends as they took some time out to enjoy the day.

The group focused on the park’s world-class coasters including El Toro, Kingda Ka, Nitro, SUPERMAN – Ultimate Flight and BATMAN the Ride. The family agreed that El Toro, the world’s No. 1 wooden coaster, was their favorite ride of the day and the best wooden coaster they ever rode.
R5 ended the day with a performance to a full house of fans in the Plymouth Rock Assurance® Arena. The band featured hits including “If I Can’t Be With You” and “Pass Me By.”

The time is almost here! June 5th we can all get a glimpse of the latest addition to the Great Wolf Family! Great Wolf Lodge, North America’s largest family of indoor waterparks, announced today the official grand opening celebration date for Great Wolf Lodge New England. Opening on June 5, the new resort, located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, will soon offer area families the perfect destination for a weekend getaway, or longer family vacation.

“Great Wolf Lodge New England is going to change how families in the region spend time together,” said Great Wolf Lodge CEO Kimberly Schaefer. “We know that parents are challenged by so many things when it comes to planning and taking a vacation. The indoor waterpark resort will be a first-class destination, complete with more than 400 suites, a wide variety of entertainment offerings, dining options and amenities for the entire family. The centerpiece of the resort is the exciting indoor waterpark. With signature Great Wolf Lodge water rides and attractions, including the thrilling six-story, Howlin’ Tornado; the amazing Wolf Tail slide, with its 360 degree loop; Slap Tail Pond wave pool and the River Canyon Run family raft ride, Great Wolf Lodge New England will offer something for everyone.
The waterpark is just the beginning of all that Great Wolf Lodge New England brings to the area. Throughout the entire resort, families will have many unique activities and attractions to enjoy. The giant Howlin’ Timbers Play Park will offer hours of excitement.
