Kong Skull Island Experience Now Open At Madame Tussauds Times Square NYCKongMadMadame Tussauds in Times Square has unveiled their brand new exhibit based on Legendary Entertainment & Warner Bros’ new film Kong: Skull Island, which releases on March 10. The attraction features a hyper-realistic model of the film’s main character James Conrad, played by Tom Hiddleston. Madame Tussauds New York will launch the brand new space and unveil its first-ever wax figure of Tom Hiddleston as Captain James Conrad. Visitors will join Captain Conrad on an adventure deep into the tropics of Skull Island before coming face-to-face with the monstrous Kong himself.

 Fans will get to make their way through Skull Island, seeing replicas of a giant Mother Long-Legs spider on their way to encounter the largest animatronic in New York City. At a towering eighteen feet, participants will have the chance to come face-to-face with the beast himself — the legendary King Kong. Taking months to create, this is Kong in his most true form yet. Kong-head made from over 350 square feet of specialized faux hair.  Taking a team of thirty three artists, the full project took over seventy days to complete. The beast acts in a very lifelike manner, as his eyes look around the room. Seeing how his mouth moves, and how he lets out large growls periodically really makes you think twice about what it would be like to be on Skull Island! I know that is a place I would definitely visit if I had the chance and this experience let me feel as if I actually had that chance. Check out what we thought of the movie here.
 KongMad2Being a King Kong fan forever this exhibit was like a dream come true. It really gave me a chance to feel first hand what it would be like to come up face to face with KONG! Bravo, Madame Tussauds, you have done it again! This one is a real gem for any King Kong fan.  King Kong has always been a big license in our household. From the original 1933 film to the newer adaptations, my family has always enjoyed the series. The newest addition to the franchise, Kong: Skull Island is one of the most visually impressive and fun movies to release this year. My family had the opportunity to see the film in IMAX 3D a few days ago. One word- Incredible! The wide shots of the beautiful Skull Island looked great on a large scale. It gave you the intense feeling of actually being right on the island. Skull Island is a tale of survival, and the bond between the survivors and the beast.

Kong: Skull Island pits a crew of soldiers, an anti-war photographer, a very skilled tracker, and a few scientists against a wide array of vicious beasts unseen by the world previous to their expedition. From the towering and frightening Mother Long-Legs to Kong himself, the crew is overwhelmed with danger. In one of the best films of 2017 so far, viewers will get to experience a gripping story, great performances from the main & supporting cast, and the fight sequences that make the film stand out.

The story takes place in 1973 where a former British Special Air Service Captain James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston) is hired by the government agent Bill Randa (John Goodman) to head an expedition to the uncharted isle Skull Island located in the Pacific Ocean. Accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Preston Packard( Samuel L. Jackson) and photojournalist Mason Weaver (Brie Larson).
The action in this film begins immediately with an initial attack form Kong who towers over a hundred feet tall. There are gigantic spiders and skullcrawelers , Forbidden Zones and missing people!  I really cannot say much more without giving away the movie. It’s a Kong fan’s dream come true. In addition to the movie our family had a chance to check out the latest exhibit newly added section KONG: Skull Island at Madame Tussauds Times Square. It’s an interactive experience that takes you through the wilds of Skull Island and brings you face to face with Kong himself. Kong’s head is over eighteen feet tall and animatronic with moving eyes and mouth along with sound. It’s the perfect accent to seeing the movie! Have a KONGtastic Day! One of the hardest things about being a mom is putting ourselves in front of our children. Don’t believe it, just ask me. I always feel like I am last in line. I, like so many other moms, make sure all of the children’s needs are met and they are happy before we even begin to worry about ourselves. Over the years that can definitely take its toll of a mom’s body. Recently I had the opportunity to check out Personal Trainer Food via The Moms.

When I first heard about Personal Trainer Food I had my doubts. I have been on a few different prepackaged foods before. Some of them were great, some not so great.  I really did not know what to think. Then the box arrived. Anything that is delivered to my house is already a perk. I did not have to go out with a list and look for certain items- WIN! The foods come prepackaged and portioned out. They arrive in a dry ice container nice and cold. I would suggest being home or arranging to be home when the food is being delivered because it has to be transferred from the shipping crate to the fridge and freezer. If you work, it is safe for those hours to wait for you while you are working so don’t worry.

Before I share how this whole thing works let me start by saying the food is GOOD! It’s more than good, it’s delicious! So, here’s just how easy it is to be a part of the Personal Trainer Food program. First you just order the food. It’s that simple. No shopping, no lists, food arrives at your door. Second you just put the food away. It’s all see through and labeled so it will be easy to get out when you need it. The plan also includes a guide to follow showing you how and when to eat and how to incorporate exercise (walking) into your life. Easy so far, right?

Seems easy because it is easy. There are a few different plans that you can check out and find the one that is right for you. The plan I went with was 3 meals a day. I thought that would be the best one to start off with and the one that required the least amount of planning. It included 28 Breakfasts1 Omelet & Protein, 28 Lunches1 Vegetable & 1 Protein, and 28 Dinners1 Vegetable & 1 Protein.

It worked! This plan provided me with the tools I needed to gain back strength and take off some initial weight. I ran the plan for one month pretty much hunger free. The best part is that the food was simple and delicious. I could not have prepared it better myself. Three meals a day and healthy snacks in between. There is also a men’s plan that includes double the protein. If you are wondering if the plan is filling, it is. I was not hungry. The absence of carbs helped to take away any hunger pangs and they became replaced with being ready for my next protein meal.  A while back our family got a sneak peek at the beginning of DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby and absolutely loved it! You are really in store for some fun with this one. Both parents and kids are going to laugh throughout the film. I am beyond thrilled to be able to invite readers of 3decades3kids to a super advance screening of the movie.
