Our family is always in search of something fun to do for New Year’s Eve. Sometimes that can be a challenge with a family of five and varying ages. This year I was overly thrilled to hear about PEEPSFest in Bethlehem, PA. Who doesn’t love those little yellow yummy goodies? Okay, they have expanded way beyond the yellow goodness of the original Peeps and along the way our family has been able to incorporate them into more and more recipes. Of course our family favorite is still package to mouth! Yum!
This year you can join our family at this FREE event less than two hours from NYC.
The PeepsFest runs December 30th from 10am-4pm and December 31st from 10am- 6pm.
During the Fifth Anniversary celebration of PeepsFest you will definitely be promised hours and hours of family fun! This will be the largest celebration to date!
PEEPSFEST™, which is free to attend, offers families two days packed with live music, arts and crafts and PEEPS®-related programming, all culminating at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 31st with the dropping of a 4.5-foot tall, 85-pound, lit PEEPS® Chick and fireworks to welcome in the New Year.
PEEPSFEST™ Highlights Include:
– Display of the PEEPS® Diorama Competition
– Lehigh Valley Zoo animals including African Penguins
– Dutch Springs’ dog sled team
– New Year’s Eve Party with live music by kid-friendly band Starfish on Dec. 31st, 4 p.m.
– PEEPS®-themed arts and crafts, video game competitions,PEEPS® scavenger hunt
– Coca-Cola® Polar Bear made entirely out of PEEPS®
– Photo opportunities with the PEEPS® Chick, Elmo, TeleBear, Coca-Cola Polar Bear
– PEEPSFEST™ 5K and Kids Fun Run on Dec. 31st (registration fee required)
– PEEPSMOBILE® and PEEPS® Ice Sculpture on the town square
Festival hours are Dec. 30th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Dec. 31st, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
fifth anniversary celebration of PEEPSFEST™, an action-packed New Year celebration and family festival at the SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA put on by the PEEPS® brand and ArtsQuest performing arts center and cultural campus. This year’s event, set for Monday, Dec. 30th and Tuesday, Dec. 31st, will feature programming at four SteelStacks locations – the ArtsQuest Center, Levitt Pavilion, Visitor Center and PBS39 Public Media and Education Center – making it the largest celebration in the festival’s history!
