The Gazillion Bubble Show NYC

The Gazillion Bubble Show NYC

Ever since I heard about The Gazillion Bubble Show in NYC, I wanted to see it! I thought it would be fun for the entire family. The Gazillion Bubble Show The Next Generation, held at New World Stages on 50th Street, NYC was great!

Our show was hosted by Deni Yang, who was a wonderful bubble artist since the age of four. His parents were the original Gazillion Bubble Show hosts in other cities where the show still takes place.
The show featured many, many bubbles-big and small. Deni Yang told different stories and created bubbles that not even your imagination could begin to think of. Children of all ages and adults alike were in awe of all the spectacular bubble acts!

I personally loved when a little girl was taken on the stage and story was told of a little girl in Hawaii who dreamed of snow. In just a few seconds of dimming the lights and bringing them back up, the stage was transformed into a bubble paradise. There were bubbles everywhere.

As a bonus, Deni Yang preformed a breathtaking lazer act. The music was wonderful and the audience was filled with enthusiam!

One highlight of going to the Gazillion Bubble Show is that you can get your picture inside an actual bubble! There is a special area set up that you can stand in and people raise a bubble up around you! Sometimes it takes a few tries, but they do get the picture!
If you are in the mood for a fun afternoon with the family, The Gazillion Bubble Show is a great choice! There are also plenty of “take home” bubble fun items to purchase and take home for your own bubble fun!

Disney On Ice – Princess Wishes!

Disney On Ice- Princess Wishes!
Last night my family was lucky enough to go to Disney On Ice Princess Wishes. It was a first for us. We have gone to many Disney On Ice shows with our two older sons, but now that we have Emily, our own little princess, we had to see Princess Wishes!
This Disney on Ice highlighted scenes from many of the Disney Movies and the Princesses were abundant!

Arriving early to Princess Wishes had its advantages. The doors opened one hour early and that gave us  an opportunity to take our time and view the Princess display. Wow! We were able to see Princess gowns and items from many of the Princesses, including Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and of course Princess Tiana!
We even got to see Tiana’s yummy pot of gumbo just like in the movie Princess and the Frog!
One of my daughter’s favorite parts of the preshow was actually getting to meet the real Princess Tiana! She was beautiful and Emily was in awe of her, as were all the little grils!

We had so much fun even before the actual Disney on Ice show  started! Princess Wishes was filled with fun for both girls and boys, so if your Princess has a brother, don’t worry, there were plenty of scenes that kept the “guys” amused! The hostess of the show was Tinkerbell, who came out between scenes to introduce the next act! The Pixie dust was plentiful as Tink skated from one end of the ice to the other!
If you have a chance to see Dinsey on Ice Princess Wishes, don’t miss it. Your Princess will love it and so will you. Don’t forget to leave some room for the yummy cotton candy and popcorn and of course snow cones in take home Disney cups! Have a magical time at Disney on Ice Princess Wishes!

Great Wolf Lodge PAW PASS!

PAW PASS
 At Great Wolf Lodge
On our recent trip to Great Wolf Lodge Poconos we came upon a wonderful resort option called the Paw Pass! When making your room reservation or upon arrival you can add on the Paw Pass. It is quite a savings and really includes so many activities the kids will want anyway, along with some real perks!

The Paw Pass comes as a lanyard so you or your child can easily wear it! You will want to have it handy throughout your stay. ALL of the things pictured were included in the Paw Pass, along with some additional fun!

Emily’s favorite part  of the Paw Pass was getting to choose her favorite animal at the Great Wolf Stuffing Station! There were so many choices, but she went with the pink poodle. The outfit was not included, but very reasonable.

Our next stop on the Paw Pass was MagiQuest. For each pass your child can choose one Classic or Brilliant Wand and the pass also includes the MagiQuest game and book! The kids really had fun going from hallway to hallway on their quest!
For my older sons Gr8_Space was a little break for them to go and enjoy music and video games. It gave them a little time away from their little sister and a chance to just hang around. Admission to Gr8_Space is included with the pass.
Race Zone, also included, was a bunch of fun. Each of the children had a chance to enjoy two race events using a rental car and one custom made driver’s license. My 11 year old, Adam had a great time racing!
We all had fun at the arcade. The kids were thrilled to find out they each would get 20 tokens for Northern Lights Arcade. My two sons played Deal or No Deal and won 400 tickets!
While the boys were in the arcade, hubby and I took Emily to get her small glitter tattoo! Since she has 2 brothers, she was able to get three tattoos! She traded them for extra tokens!
If you like tattoos and glitter, you will love the tattoos! They last a week, but don’t get them done until you are finished with your water park fun. Emily chose a mermaid, a rose, and a heart. They were adorable!

One last thing, don’t forget your Paw Pass, even when you go to the water park. You won’t want to miss out on the Souvenir Sipper with a drink and one Chipstix with your choice of seasonings at the Snack Bar. They sure are yummy!

If you are planning a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge, you should  definitely take advantage of the Paw Pass! You won’t regret it! Just leave enough time to GET everything that is included!

UGG Store NYC! My Trip!

UGG Store NYC! My Trip!

This may not be exciting to everyone, but to an UGG lover, like I am this was quite an experience! The UGG store is located at 600 Madison Avenue, New York, NY. From the very first time I saw someone walking the streets of NYC carrying an UGG bag, I knew I had to find the UGG store and visit it! I did locate the store a while ago, have seen it from the outside, but the other night I finally got to take a look inside.

I was not always an UGG lover, but since getting my boots, I have certainly conceded to the UGG craze. They are the warmest, most comfortable boots that I have ever had on my feet. I hate to take them off  when I come in the house because I know I have to get a heavy duty warm and comfy pair of socks out to take their place. Well, there was only one thing to do, right? Go to the UGG store and buy a pair of slippers! Then I would never have to worry, I could go from my boots to my slippers without a “chilly” worry.
The UGG store certainly lived up. I got there close to closing, so I did not have to wait in line for more than 5 minutes to get inside. The wait was okay, since it gave me a chance to check out all the window displays.

Once inside the crowded, but managable store, it was easy to see why it was so crowded. UGGS everywhere! I spent the first few minutes just going from place to place checking out all the different kinds of Uggs that were available. They even had a limited edition Swarvoski crystal studded pair of Ugg boots with the Empire State Building on the side (only available in NYC at that location). Okay, so since they were encased in glass, I did not even bother to ask the price, but they really were gorgeous!

After wandering around to the men’s section and the seeing the children’s choices, I made my decision about the slippers. I went with the Women’s Rylan in Orchid Bloom! They were so comfy! So, now I can have my Uggs and have them, too…24/7! By the way, about 80 percent of the people in the Ugg Store were already wearing Uggs!

I loved my trip to the Ugg Store and honestly, I cannot wait to go back, even though I’m not sure when that will be! A girl can never have too many Ugg boots, right?
So, if you love Uggs and have a chance to visit the UGG store, don’t miss it! You won’t be disappointed!

Wizarding World Of Harry Potter – Universal Studios Orlando

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Universal Oralando
Our trip to Universal Studios is always filled with fun and excitement, but out last trip was especially wonderful because of our new venture, visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
I feel especially connected to the whole Harry Potter craze, since my 19 year old son grew up on Harry Potter books. It seemed inevitable that we would have to visit the WWHP and see what it had it store for us!

Universal Studios really outdid themselves with the new addition to the park. The entrance to Hogsmeade was breathtaking! Everyone around us just stopped in their tracks to take it all in.
The Hogwart’s Express to the left, shops to the right, snow on the rooftops, it was just overwhelming and well worth the trip already. As we walked down the crowded cobblestone path my family had to make a stop for some butterbeer in a take home mug! Wow! Everyone agreed it was perfect!

Of course the highlight of the trip was a visit to Hogwarts! Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was not a ride to miss. It was well worth the line and there was plenty to talk about and look at while we were waiting. If you want to reride, be sure to ask for the single rider line to make a much quicker second trip! We spent time at the WWHP at the beginning of the day, but we only had a one day pass, we also went back to the area to revisit about an hour before the park closed. At that time we were able to just “enter” any shop with no line to wait in, including the “Ollivander’s” the wand shop, where you can choose the wand that is right for you. Don’t miss it, althought you will have a hard time choosing! I hope if you get the chance to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you enjoy it as much as our family. I’m sure you will! Have a wonderful trip!
