Dinosaurs Ready To Roar Starting December 27

With the Debut of

“Dinosaurs Dynamite!”

Produced By Field Station: Dinosaurs

By now I know that you already know how much our family loves dinosaurs, especially when they are from Field Station: Dinosaurs in New Jersey. We have spent countless hours taking on our roles as paleontologists as we scour the grounds looking for dinosaurs, fossils and more. But during the winter we always get kind of glum because the park is closed. This year something very special is happening and we can’t wait to share the news with you. So gather up your dinosaurs fans in the family and listen up. You are not going to want to miss out on this winter treat!
Vicious velociraptors, adorable baby dinosaurs and a living, breathing Tyrannosaurus Rex will take the stage at Metuchen’s Forum Theatre for seven performances starting Thursday December 27 and running through Sunday December 30.   Dinosaurs Dynamite!, a new family musical presented by Field Station: Dinosaurs, will take children back in time and around the world for an unforgettable adventure hosted by the Dinosaur Troubadour, Jumpin’ Jamie, and featuring the puppetry of Chris Palmieri, the star of Universal Kids’ Sprout House. Performance times are December 27 at 1:00 pm and December 28 – 30 at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Written by Field Station: Dinosaurs’ founder and New Jersey stage veteran Guy Gsell, with songs by Gsell, Ken Schwartz, as well as Jamie and Colby Theurich, Dinosaurs Dynamite is an entertaining educational show with just the perfect mix of science, silly and scary. Kids will dance at the Dinosaur Dance Party and learn how dinosaurs are named as they become contestants in a new game show for kids – Name That Dinosaur! The Field Station’s singing paleontologists will introduce New Jersey families to their most surprising next door neighbors – the Dinosaurs! Then the Forum will be transformed into a mesmerizing glow-in-the-dark puppet theater where the audience will take flight with the dinosaur daredevil – the bravest dinosaur of all!
The highlight of the show is a special appearance by the Field Station’s famous Mighty T-Rex, a realistic, 16-foot interactive puppet. In addition to Jumpin’ Jamie and Chris Palmieri, the all New Jersey cast includes Matt Coakley and Jesse Bush. This is the first live show that Field Station: Dinosaurs has produced outside its popular Leonia park. The Forum Theatre is located at 314 Main Street, Metuchen, NJ and is just two blocks from New Jersey Transit’s Metuchen train station.
Tickets for Dinosaurs Dynamite are available online at www.FieldStationDinosaurs.com or at the Forum Theatre Box Office one half hour prior to a performance.  For more information, please call Field Station: Dinosaurs at 855-999-9010.
