Winter is here but SPRING is around the corner and we cannot wait! Before you know it the flowers will be blooming and we will be gearing up for Easter! It may seem like a million miles away but time has a way of just moving faster than we expect. When it comes to Easter there is one “Must Do” that comes to mind for our family, seeing the Easter Bunny! We have been to a zillion different locations over the years to grab a pic with him but no have ever been better than riding the Easter Bunny Train!

Who loves the Easter Bunny?  You can ride the only Easter Bunny train in the area. This one is super special because it’s a magical experience from beginning to end. You and your family can board the train where the Easter Bunny will come to you! I think I love that the most. There is no line, no waiting, no whining! You just enjoy the train ride and the Easter Bunny will be there before you know it! Is there any better way to visit with  Mr. E. Bunny? Give him a hug and take a picture!

Did I mention that halfway through the train ride the train will stop and you can et off of the train for an  Easter Egg Hunt!  Your  ride will wind along the scenic Delaware River leaving from the Historic District of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The train will travel along the river to Carpentersville and the destination will be the site of the historic Lime Kilns. In front of the 150 year old Lime kilns is a beautiful little glade filled with Easter Eggs! Once we arrive you can get off the train, take a picture with Mr. Bunny and gather 4 Easter eggs filled with little toys ( similar to what you find in cracker jack). You can also enjoy cute Easter music on the train and the banjo playing Hobo and a Juggler, it’s fun for the whole family! There is even a gift shop where you can buy some bunny ears and a little basket( if you forgot to bring them, like me!). There are snacks available as well!
