Little House on the Prairie seems like it has been a part of my life forever. As soon as my daughter showed the slightest interest, I ran to the bookstore and grabbed all of the books so she could embrace what so many others have adored for years. Of course the teacher in my had my daughter and I explore the Little House on the Prairie website, where we found educational resources about Little House on the Prairie that included a historical timeline  and many history articles  as well as fun crafts, recipes and more. The Laura Ingalls Doll is more than a doll, it can be a full lesson on history. Emm and I have been role playing using Laura Ingalls having conversations with some of her other 18 inch dolls. Bringing up the past and comparing it to the present is a very interesting take of playing dolls.
