Kids’ Night On Broadway! Take You Kids To A Broadway Show For Free!
You are definitely going to want to mark your calendar now for the upcoming 2017 Kids’ Night On Broadway! Our family has looked forward and attended KNOB for many years. It’s a great way to expose your children to a Broadway show or see your favorite ones again. Recently the KNOB 2017 date was announced as Tuesday February 28th. Although it is a school night many of the shows have a curtain time of 7 pm. You have to check each show to see their start time. Many of our children’s first Broadway show occurred on Kids’ Night On Broadway! If you would like to grab your free tickets you will have to do it fast. They sell out pretty quickly. The tickets go on sale Tuesday December 6, 2016 at 10:30 am. It also makes an amazing holiday gift! Kids today have so many material things that it is wonderful to be able to give them an experience instead. There will also be local restaurants offering free kids’ meals and entertainment before showtime!
Kids’ Night on Broadway® is an annual event where kids 18 and under can attend participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket includes restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more. On Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, select shows will offer in-theatre activities for kids including talkbacks, Kids’ Night on Broadway activity books, and more events still to be announced! “Kids’ Night on Broadway continues to attract new audiences and highlight the fact that Broadway is a fun and informative activity for families to do together,” said Charlotte St. Martin, President of the Broadway League. “Other League programs including the National High School Musical Theatre Awards and our new website BwayZone.com reiterate our dedication to educating all ages about how live theatre can engage and inspire.”

Many Times Square area eateries will offer specials for Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket-holders, including free entrees for kids. kidsnightonbroadway.com will have all information. Kids’ Night on Broadway® will also take place in multiple cities around the country, with different shows and venues putting their own spin on the event, on numerous dates throughout the year.
