Great Wolf Lodge and Summer- Perfect Together!
Our family is spending this summer in Pennsylvania ! Of course we could not let a #SummerInPa go by without a big trip to one of our favorite family spots- Great Wolf Lodge Poconos! GWL is about two hours from NYC and an easy drive! It’s definitely a must do for our family matter what season, but we love the summer at Great Wolf Lodge because the outdoor pool is open, along with other fun choices!
Recently our family spent three days/ two nights at the lodge. We love staying two nights because it allows us to really dig in, relax and have an awesome time. Don’t get me wrong- One night works!! Anyway, this time was a trip definitely filled with memories made! It was the second time we brought along the underwater camera, which captured many new pics of us all having in the wave pool and more! My sons adore the water slides and the crowds were pretty tame in the morning so they were able to get on as many as they wanted to without too much of a wait.
The outdoor pool is now open for summer!! We generally visit GWL on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend- signifying the opening and closing of the outdoor pool. When we visited there was also a special party for Violet’s Birthday which included complimentary make your own sundaes in the lobby and an outside dance party that featured fireworks!
