Most of us have been to a Disney On Ice Show at least once.
My family has made Disney On Ice something we attend as a group no matter how old we all are!
Since my oldest son is twenty-two we have spent many, many happy times with cotton candy in hand enjoying those talented Disney characters skate without a flaw before our very eyes. We thought we loved the show. We never thought it would change or get any better. Well, our family was wrong!
Recently we had the pleasure of attending Disney On Ice- Let’s Celebrate
at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
Of course the first stop, as always, was at the souvenir stand. My daughter has a vast array of
Disney On Ice toys and loves them. She gladly added to her collection and happily we headed to our
seats. Minnie Mouse icee in hand, cotton candy another hand we were settling in for the show.
Disney On Ice Let’s Celebrate started off with an upbeat overabundance of Disney characters
greeting everyone with a wave and a smile. But, something was different, something was new.
The usual backdrop for the Disney On Ice Show had changed. There now is an interactive
screen to add to the excitement of the show. It works! It’s amazing! We all loved it!
The show is filled with many characters that take you on a journey through different
holidays, cultures, and traditions. I was amazed to see Jack Skellington on ice!
That definitely was a highlight for my hubby and sons! Of course Emily and I loved the whole Valentine’s Day segment chock filled with princesses! Among the fun were plenty of Disney magical moments, songs we all love, and just plain memory making fun that our family will remember for years to come.
If you are wondering if you should give Disney on Ice a go, it’s a definite yes!
