Grab the kids and get ready because Play Fair NY will be happening for the first time and will definitely want to be there! Toy Fair NY does not allow anyone under the age of eighteen to enter. It seems kind of odd, although I completely understand it when I am booking appointments all day long to see what the newest additions to my favorite brands have to offer. This year the kids are in for some real fun! Play Fair, a fun kids and family event coming to New York the same weekend as Toy Fair. Like “Comic-Con for kids,” Play Fair is bringing together major kid and entertainment brands, like LEGO, Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Mattel and more, for an interactive play experience that is open to the public. http://playfairny.com/ The picture below shows you the four time slots and what will take place during each session.
The 2-day event will offer live performances, meet and greets with top YouTube personalities and interactive experiences, including:
- Attendees can check out the new Batmobile from Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” in theaters March 25, 2016
- The cast of Nickelodeon’s hit show Game Shakers will host a panel on Saturday to debut their new app, Nasty Goats
- Kids can build LEGO cars and race them down a track
- YouTube personalities including Disney Car Toys, Mommy and Gracie Show, and Kitties Mama will meet with fans and host toy unboxings live on the Toys”R”Us stage
- Attendees can meet and take photos with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol, Dora and more
- Kids can take photos with Shopkins characters
Play Fair gives the public a taste of what goes on behind the closed doors of Toy Fair, an annual toy show that is closed to the public and open only to media.
