October 3rd is National Stomp Out Bullying Day! #‎GOBLUE2EndBullying2016  #BlueShirtDay2016

This is a sponsored post in conjunction with Stomp Out Bullying Day.

October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month and to signify its importance, STOMP Out Bullying™ created
Blue Shirt Day® World Day of Bullying Prevention™stomp-out-bullying-logoBeing a teacher for twenty years and a mom of three, I can tell you I have a personal ongoing relationship with bullying! The word alone makes me SICK!!!!! I have seen bullying in all forms. Some people may think it’s only children on the schoolyard calling names or someone sending a text picture that catches someone else at an awkward moment. There are so many other forms. There are your usual name calling bullies, kids in class making fun of others, and high schoolers who relentlessly pick on kids for no reason. There are bullies all over. Some of them are so called friends who talk behind others backs, some are children, some are the moms and dads of the bullies- because let’s face it, they learn it somewhere. Not to say that every bully is the child of a bully. It just sickens me to see innocent children, tweens, teens and adults bullied for no reason but the fact that they are just breathing! So October is a great month already and it also happens to be National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month!   Blue Shirt Day® World Day of Bullying Prevention™ is observed on the first Monday of every October. In 2016 it will take place on October 3rd! Someone you know could be bullied. Someone you know might be a bully. I especially despise the bullies that come across to everyone in the world as pure sweetness. Let’s put an end to bullies once and for all.

These celebrities have joined STOMP Out Bullying and are making a statement against bullying by wearing a BLUE SHIRT in solidarity to make 10•3•16 the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world!

If you have ever been at the mercy of a bully it is not an easy place to be. It’s time to take back the world! Let’s start by checking out http://www.stompoutbullying.org/ There are stories and information. On a final note. Hear your kids laughing about someone in the class, on the team, at school? Don’t ignore and chuck it up to childhood. Bullying just snowballs when no one gets involved.
