Russian Guitarist Didula- January 27th In Brooklyn’s Millennium Theatre

NTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED RUSSIAN GUITARIST DIDULA
TO HOLD RARE CONCERT IN NEW YORK CITY
BROOKLYN’S MILLENNIUM THEATRE

JANUARY 27 PERFORMANCE

Legendary guitar virtuoso DIDULA, one of the most successful Russian musicians in the post-Soviet era, is bringing his unique blend of instrumental “world-pop” music to New York City for a rare concert appearance.  Didula and his renowned band of top multinational musicians will take their elegant and uplifting stage show to Brooklyn’s Millennium Theatre on Sunday, January 27at 7:00 PM.  Tickets are on sale now.

Didula’s music is an eclectic fusion of ethnic sounds that touches on many styles including pop, jazz, rock, classical, flamenco and world music.  Without a single word being spoken in his show, Didula and his ensemble take audiences through an emotional and exhilarating performance that translates into any language.

Currently touring in support of his ninth album, Ornamental, Didula is an exceptional guitar talent who is able to use his instrument as a voice.  Unlike most Western guitarists who have a foundation in Blues-based music, Didula draws on many Eastern influences, along with classical and current pop music, creating a unique signature “soundscape” with which to showcase his brilliant abilities.

Since picking up a guitar for the first time at age five, Didula has gone on to establish himself as a musical force to be reckoned with.  He has presented thousands of sold out shows to audiences in Russia, Finland, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus and other Eastern European countries, in addition to having won several prestigious Russian television music talent contests.

As a composer, Didula has created music for several Russian motion pictures and television programs, and even worked with Bryan Adams in the film “House of Fools.”

No matter what the language, Didula is set to win over New York audiences with his spiritual and seductive style of music.
