Giveaway: Swag Bag From
DreamWorks Animation
The Croods Red Carpet NYC Premiere
In Theaters March 22
Life can be a wonderful thing, especially when you have the pleasure
of attending a Red Carpet Premiere in NYC thanks to +The Moms.
Recently my family attended Dream Works Animation NYC premiere
of The Croods. Of course there were stars abound and we did get a glimpse
of some of them and got to chat with others. All in all it was an amazing day filled
with lights, cameras, stars, popcorn, treats, swag and of course that famous red carpet.
Meeting Emma Stone
No matter how amazing the event in itself may have been, it would not have
been complete if the movie did not live up. I am happy to say that The Croods is
worth a go on March 22nd when it officially hits theaters. This movie was hilarious and
was only confirmed by the roar of laughter from both adults and children that
filled the theater of  The Croods 3D goers.
DreamWorks Animation, The Croods,  is a humorous adventure filled with exciting 3D screen moments and quite a few chuckles on both child and adult level. The fun never ends with this prehistoric family as they try to beat the clock after their cave of protection is destroyed forever. The overprotective father, Grug (Nicolas Cage) is just hilarious with his backward way of thinking along with his ideals about how his family should operate. Things get more intense as Grug’s daughter, Eep (Emma Stone) meets up with Guy (Ryan Reynolds), who has a whole other
outlook on life and tries to convince the family there is “another way” to live.
As The Croods flee the only life they ever knew, they discover an amazing new world,
new ways, new friends and most importantly a new way of thinking.
I think there is a little bit of The Croods in every family.
You will definitely not want to let this one slip by. Check out more about The Croods right here.

Disney Junior’s Jake’s Birthday Bash and Pirate’s Booty!

Disney Junior’s Jake’s Birthday Bash
and Pirate’s Booty
Everyone that knows our family, already knows what
Disney Junior fans we have living here! One staple show
that always seems to be on in our living room happens to
be Jake and The Neverland Pirates. I must
admit, I am not against the whole pirate thing. Since I was
a Boymom for many years before Emily came into the picture,
I have always loved a good reason
to sword fight! Arrrrg!
When we heard that Jake would be celebrating a birthday
we could not resist throwing our own Jake’s Birthday Bash!
We geared up by sending Jake a live birthday greeting and checking
out all the great party suggestions on DisneyJr.
I was thrilled when a package arrived from Pirates Booty with
themed Jake Pirate’s Booty snacks for our party goers along with
eye patches, swords, tattoos, and an official Jake and the Neverland
Pirates’ Treasure Chest. It was the hit of the party and the little pirates
could not help but squeal with excitement at they sponge sword fought
each other for hours. Everyone had their chance to reach in and grab out
some Pirate’s Booty from the Treasure Chest and then it was time to
watch the show. Our night was filled with Place the tail on the Croc,
skull and coin cookie decorating, a big birthday song for Jake and some
awesome belly laughs. All of our little pirates left the party with
Pirate’s Booty in their hands and smiles on their faces!
What an awesome night. If you missed out on the official party
date of March 1st, you can always host your own party any time.

Let’s Chat With Nuclear Cowboyz Javier Villegas

Let’s Chat With Nuclear Cowboyz
Javier Villegas
Interview between

Diane Sullivan and Javier Villegas
Nuclear Cowboyz
March 16 & 17
IZOD Center, NJ

Diane: How old were you when you started having an interest in motocross?

Javier: I was probably five years old when I started liking motocross, but at that moment my family didn’t have money to buy me a dirt bike. It took my dad two years to save enough money to buy me a motorcycle.

Diane: When did you realize that motocross was something you wanted to do as a career?

Javier: When I was 17 years old I was finishing school and I still didn’t know what I wanted to study in college, but I did know that I love riding my dirt bike. When I was 17, I was still living in my country (Chile) and down there, is almost impossible to make a career as an athlete. It took a lot of effort and a lot of training to make it happen, but I don’t regret it one moment.

Diane: What has been your most exciting moment so far?

Javier: My most exciting moment was when I became world champion in 2011, it was a long year and but the victory was a reward of so many years of hard work.

Diane: Scariest moment?
Javier: My scariest moment was when I broke my femora in 2007, it was my first time breaking a big bone and it was very painful, made me think if I really wanted to keep riding, but a few weeks later I was ready to start recovering and get back into my bike.

Diane: What is your next goal?
Javier: My next goal is to become the best freestyle rider in the world, I know it is a hard goal, because there is so many good riders out there, but I’m going to work hard to achieve it.

Diane: I believe Nuclear Cowboyz is new to you. What are your thoughts on it so far?
Javier: Nuclear Cowboyz is a very fun show and I enjoy all of the riding I get to do, especially when I’m doing it with my friends, we get to jump at the same time and do tricks at the same time, it’s very cool to look over and see the tricks mid air while I’m alongside the other riders. It’s also neat to be part of such a big production that includes more than freestyle… We have fireballs, fireworks a neat laser show, acrobats, dancers and much more! It’s a show everybody has to experience.

Diane: How does your wife feel about your career? Would you like your own children to be involved in FMX?
Javier: My wife is very supportive, she’s always helping me make this easier, she wakes up very early every morning to go practice with me, and she’s always there to take care of me if something happens. About my kids, I just want them to find something that makes them happy, if it’s freestyle, great, if it’s something else, great too. The only goal in life is to be happy.

Special thanks to Javier Villegas for this wonderful interview. All opinions are that of Diane Sullivan. Email me at ELGeorgia@aol.com To read more about Nuclear Cowboyz click here!
