We Have Two Halloween Elmo’s Right
From Sesame Place Just For You!
Sesame Place Is A Spooktacular Place
To Visit This Halloween Season
Open Weekends Until October 27th
Looking for somewhere to take the little ones this Halloween season that will not scare them?
Sesame Place has the answer for you! From now until October 27th Sesame Place will be celebrating on weekends with The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular. Our family had the pleasure of visiting this past weekend and had a wonderful time.
If you love Halloween you will love how Sesame Place does it up for this spooky season.
From the minute you hit the parking lot you will see everything decked out and also be greeted by the
awesome hay ride that leaves from the parking lot near Guest Relations. Every hay ride has one Sesame Place character on board and is filled with songs and stories! The hay ride has different hours than the park, so please check it out on your way in so you don’t miss out.

Once you enter the park you will be greeted by a monster sized Count balloon that will really put you into the Halloween mood. There are plenty of activities, shows and rides. There are even additional rides that are at Sesame Place just for the Halloween season. When you enter the park grab a map with all the times on it so you can plan out your day! We decided to Trick-Or-Treat first. The Trick-Or-Treat trail goes throughout the park so no matter where you are you can find a station. Emily had a ball gathering up yummies!

There are also three Halloween themed shows that you will not want to miss. You can choose to see one, two or all of them depending on how much your family loves them. Of course we attended all three!
Honestly, they are all great so whatever you choose you will love it. They all feature Halloween themes. You can check out more about each show right here:
There are also many other themed activities that you will not want to miss:
Although the water activities are not open there is plenty to do, so arrive early. Your family will want to spend the entire day having fun. Emily enjoyed the Spooktacular themed kid’s meal with a batty take home plate and cup to match! There is also a pumpkin patch where the season pass holders donate their themed pumpkins. You can purchase your own pumpkin while you are there to decorate and take home!
We had such a wonderful time on our trip to Sesame Place. The highlight for us was the Halloween parade.
It was so much fun to see our favorite characters dressed up in their costumes while singing, dancing and marching right down Sesame Street. If you have a chance to visit Sesame Place during this Halloween season, don’t let it pass you by! The memories are priceless and the fun is all geared toward the preschool aged children. Happy Halloween!

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 #Cloudy2 @Cloudymovie

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2
Sony Pictures Animation Nails It When It Comes To Family Fun-
In Theaters Now!
Over the past weekend my family had a chance, thanks to The Moms,
to attend a screening event for Sony Animation’s Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 in NYC.
Meeting up with Barry the Strawberry and other characters from the movie only
heightened the excitement for my six year old daughter who was more than thrilled to get a glimpse at the movie she has been reading books about for months!
Before the movie began we were treated to an early lunch that seemed to have been overtaken by quite a few foodimals including apple pie with eyes and Larry the leeks. There were even hippo baked potatoes.
It did fit right into the theme of the event since while the crowd dined the artzies in the crowd created their own Foodimals from various paper crafts. Emily created a Pretzel + Turtle which was renamed a Prezturtle!
As the private screening approached everyone was a little more than excited. There was chat of expectations and the different characters. Directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 is the sequel to the original movie. The new movie continues the story where the young inventor Flint and his friends must leave their homes to tame the out of control food beasts the foodimals. Help is needed to stop the foodimals but along the way Flint questions himself as to if he is following the correct path. Some of the foodimals do seem quite harmless, even lovable! I don’t want to give the movie away, but this is definitely one to see with your children or family. There are laughs for all!
Bill Hader as Flint Lockwood, Anna Faris as Sam Sparks, James Caan as Tim Lockwood, Andy Sambergas Brent McHale, Neil Patrick Harris as Steve, and Benjamin Bratt as Manny. New cast includes Terry Crews, who replaced Mr. T as Officer Earl; Will Forte, who voiced Joseph Towne in the first film, voices Chester V and Kristen Schaal as orangutan Barb.

#Roadtrip2fun How Are We Ever Going To Pack For SIXTEEN DAYS On The Road? @AmTourister

How Are We Ever Going To Pack For
 SIXTEEN DAYS On The Road?
American Tourister To The Rescue!
The thought of organizing a sixteen day road trip with a family of five sounded like so much fun.
The reality of PACKING for a family of five to get on the road for sixteen days in one minivan is a whole different story. Of course one of the very first questions I was asking myself was how the heck I was going to fit all the clothes we would all want to take along. I know that I could pack an entire bag just for Emily and me. So the thought of having to squeeze in clothes for hubby and my two sons was just making my nuts.
Don’t get me wrong, we have our own little luggage store in hiding around the house, but as the years have gone by the pieces have turned from our fancy luggage to black duffel bags.

Our family was thrilled to have the experience of testing out the new American Tourister 30″ Colora. I must admit I have been in love with the bag since I first saw it! The colors just pop out at you.

What I did not realize was that the American Tourister Colora #PackMoreFun was the official
suitcase of Walt Disney World Resort  and Disneyland . Well, that was awesome news, since
our #roadtrip2fun was taking us from NJ right down the coast to our destination: Florida!
Okay, so back to packing up everything but the kitchen sink. I have to wonder if other people have this problem, too. We pack up enough clothes to last months. We could literally LIVE in another location with the amount of clothes we usually take. I was destined this time just to pack enough for each of us to have five or six outfits-especially since we would have a washer/dryer in each of our Disney Resorts rooms.
Flash forward to packing day: Everyone had to give up five outfits and whatever other personal items they wanted packed. I know you won’t believe this: IT ALL FIT INTO THE 30″ Colora!!!!!!!!

Really, I should have made a video of it! This suitcase is BIG! Let me repeat: It ALL fit! I wanted to get down and kissed the ground because you know what that meant. If I could shove all the clothes into ONE bag, I could have another bag FREE to FILL with all the goods I was planning on buying on the trip! lol.
The American Tourister Colora loaded easily into our van with room all around it for our swimbag and overnighter, but for the most part everything was in the Colora.
As far as moving the Colora, easy stuff: the rolling dual spin wheels made it a smooth pull from hotel to hotel.
Those wheels go in every direction possible and makes the suitcase just seem to glide. This was one of my favorite features. The retractable handle and side and top grab handles were a definite plus, too!
Our American Tourister Colora has become one of the family! She goes with us everywhere now. I think she would CRY if we left her behind! If you are looking for a bright and durable bag you really do not need to look any further. If the 30 inch it too big for you, the Colora also comes in 25″ and 20″. Only one problem, this bag may be addicting and secretly whisper to you while you are sleeping….”Get another…Get me some company…How about another color?”..
