Ho! Ho! Ho! We all like something free, right? This year Noodles & Company is getting into the holiday spirit of giving by sharing a Free Mac&Cheese with children 13 and under who bring in a picture of themselves with Santa! How exciting!

Noodles & Company’s Wisconsin Mac & Cheese is made with a delicious blend of cheddar and jack cheeses, cream and elbow macaroni. The offer is valid at its two New Jersey restaurants, located at 683 Rt. 18 South in East Brunswick and at Monmouth Mall, 180 Route 35 South, Eatontown from Thursday, December 19 through Tuesday, December 31.

Every year when January rolls around our family knows exactly where we will be.
Our family reserves the first weekend of January for Professional Bull Riding!
Honestly, I never thought this would be something that our family would all enjoy, then we attended our first bull riding event a few years ago and everyone loved it! It’s an event you can enjoy with friends, alone, on a date or with family! Any way that you choose you will definitely enjoy it. This year looks like it definitely will not disappoint!
Fan Favorite J.B. Mauney returns as 2013 PBR World Champion The Professional Bull Riders returns to the newly transformed Madison Square Garden Jan. 3-5 with the Monster Energy Buck Off at the Garden to kick off its 2014 Built Ford Tough Series. Tickets for the three-day event are on sale now.
J.B. Mauney, a New York fan favorite, will compete at MSG for the first time as the reigning World Champion after a dramatic, heart-pounding finish at the PBR’s 20th Anniversary Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas where he thwarted the attempt of two-time, back-to-back champion Silvano Alves to capture his third consecutive title.
The race to the 2014 World Finals starts in New York as Mauney and Alves, two athletes at the very top of their game, look to continue their intense competition for another season.
Each day the Top 35 bull riders in the world will face off with foes nearly 10 times their weight in sinewy brawn during 8-second battles where only one athlete will be left standing. The Monster Energy Buck Off at the Garden begins Friday and Saturday, Jan. 3 and 4 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m.
In 2013, New York’s Monster Energy Invitational drew more than 43,000 fans to Madison Square Garden to set a new attendance record for the three-day competition. As “America’s fastest growing sport” (Forbes.com), the PBR expects the same in 2014.
Robson Palermo returns to the Garden as the defending PBR New York event champion. Soon after his win in 2013 he opted for season–ending surgery on his free arm. He’s now rehabbed and ready to compete and returns to the BFTS in 2014.
Another comeback cowboy is Pistol Robinson.  NYC fans watched in anguish in 2012 when Robinson’s bull ran over him after bucking him off, to break both of his legs. Jan. 3 will be the first time he has competed in NYC since that encounter.
In addition to 110 of the best bucking bulls in the business, joining these men in the arena will be five former PBR World Champions: Silvano Alves (2011, 2012), Renato Nunes (2010), Kody Lostroh (2009), Guilherme Marchi (2008) and Mike Lee (2004); 2013 PBR Rookie of the Year Joao Ricardo Vieira, Jory Markiss, Douglas Duncan, Chase Outlaw and a host of other young guns are striving to leave their mark on the Big Apple.
The bull riders will face one bull each during Round 1 on Friday, Round 2 on Saturday and Round 3 on Sunday. Following Round 3, the Top 15 riders with the highest cumulative scores will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round that same day. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined score from all four rounds, earning at least $30,000 for first place.
New York City will be the first of 27 stops on the 2014 PBR Built Ford Tough Series schedule. The series also will travel to Chicago, Anaheim, Calif., and Dallas on its 18-state tour, culminating with the PBR Built
Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 22-26 when the 2014 PBR World Champion, the bull rider who amasses the most points during the 2014 season, will receive the coveted World Championship belt buckle and $1 million bonus.
Tickets, ranging in price from $20 to $200, are now on sale for the PBR’s return to the “World’s Most Famous Arena” and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com and via phone at (800) 345-3000. Tickets are also available at the MSG Box Office.

Building things has always been big in our house. We have had our share of blocks and bricks and everything in between. Recently I was introduced to Bristle Block Spinaroos. They are amazing! First of all, I love this set in particular because it comes with its own case. That is definitely a bonus. Secondly, there are enough parts that you can build more than one thing at a time. Some of the sets of other blocks we have had you could only build one item. This set is called Bristle Block Spinaroos, check out more about it here!
This one comes with a few heads so your child can build friends and play! There are enough parts that the blocks do not get boring after five minutes of playtime. There is even a little booklet that gives you some awesome ideas on extra building ideas. The pieces are very easy to connect and so there is no stress that you get with the “Help meeeeee!” toys! That can make any parent and child smile! Did I mention that they SPIN??? Yes, they spin! We loved that they spin! 
The set shown above has 75 pieces! They are sized perfectly that they are easy to handle and make your child feel successful with whatever creative idea they have up their sleeve! This gift is perfect for ages 2-6.

 On our recent visit to Hershey Park Christmas In Candylane we had the pleasure of  visiting Hershey Sweet Lights. It was a pure delight to our eyes! Hershey Sweet lights is not inside of Hershey Park. Hershey Sweet Lights is a drive through experience that you can enjoy from anywhere in your car. It’s located very close to Hershey Park and worth doing with your family. As you drive up to the entrance you will be given two pair of  special magical glasses(if you have more than two people in your party extra glasses are available for purchase). They enhance the viewing by creating little snowflakes around the lights. The glasses really do make the experience even more magical especially for the children. This light up winter wonderland had everyone in the car in awe from my oldest son who is twenty two down to my seven year old daughter. It’s a great family fun activity! We did see some cars with children in pajamas (very adorable idea).

When we first arrived at Hershey’s Sweet Lights we had no idea about what to expect. Little did we know there were two miles of light up happiness to greet us. They also alert you to the holiday music on your radio station that can accompany you on your drive thru. The trail of lights takes you through an initial flat area of displays and then through a winding path through the woods. 
I took this picture through the special glasses so you could get the idea of how the snowflakes
appear (the red lights you can see best).

I loved this one!
The light displays included the enchanted woods, fairy tale characters, the Twelve Days of Christmas, staple Christmas scenes, Victorian scenes, Hershey displays and more. You can even find your favorite Hershey Park rides! There are about six hundred different light displays! now that is very sweet! My daughter especially liked finding Roudolph peeking out from behind
 the trees throughout the trail. 
The price of Hershey Sweet Lights varies, but stays around $20. Well worth the fun you will have throughout the journey with your family. The magic of the experience is priceless!

Hershey Sweet Lights takes a little over an hour to go through, but can take longer or shorter depending on the traffic. There are also portable bathrooms available at the Hershey Sweet Lights welcoming area, along with drinks and kettle corn (for sale).
