Calling ALL Doc McStuffins fans!
Of course that would include my own daughter,
who is a huge Doc McStuffins follower!
I was thrilled to find out that
beginning Friday, April 12, Disney Junior invites fans to vote
for their favorite “Doc McStuffins” toy character –
Hallie, Lambie, Stuffy or Chilly – at DisneyJunior.com/Doc .
The toy with the most
votes will be revealed on-air Friday, May 3 during
the premiere of the new episode “Bronto Boo-Boos /
Brontosaurus Breath” (10:00-10:30 a.m., ET/PT)
on Disney Channel.  The episode debut will be followed
by a special “Doc McStuffins”
marathon highlighting the winning character.

In the new episode,  “Bronto Boo-Boos /
Brontosaurus Breath” – Donny’s new toy dinosaur, Bronty learns
an important lesson about playing with little kids who are
smaller than him and the importance of brushing his teeth!
Sounds like an episode that will definitely hit on some
lessons that all children won’t have a problem reviewing!
Healthy teeth is a biggie in our house. We will be tuned it!

Emily has already chosen her favorite character, of course
along with saying that, she has changed her mind a few times
in the last couple of minutes! I personally would have to go
with Lambie! Who’s your favorite?

Sometimes it’s great to have three children and sometimes they get sick and make you miss an incredible Opening Day ceremony! That’s what happened when I was invited to the Opening Day celebration of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester at Ridge Hill in Yonkers NY! This celebration rocked like no other in the neighborhood. I can hardly wait to visit the new Legoland Discovery Center, now open! I know my kids will love it, and I am positive I will, too! We have been LEGO fans and builders in this house forever! I think we must have a zillion Legos and I personally am an expert builder at this point! I think the Star Wars sets helped me out with that one, or maybe the Pirates of the Carribean sets! 

In celebration of the grand opening of LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester at Ridge Hill in Yonkers, on March 27th, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, Forest City Ratner Companies (FCRC) Chairman/CEO Bruce Ratner, Merlin Entertainments executive James Burleigh and other officials were joined by 13 metro-area schoolchildren wearing yellow hardhats as the attraction’s life-size, lovable mascot “Bertie,” smashed through a 7’ x 10’ wall constructed of colorful LEGO® bricks, revealing the entrance to a line of anxious guests waiting to enter.
The ceremony celebrated the opening of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester, beginning with brief remarks from Mayor Spano, County Executive Rob Astorino, Merlin Entertainments, James Burleigh and Bruce Ratner, who leads FCRC — developer of the Ridge Hill complex.
Following the colorful wall break, Mayor Spano, County Executive Astorino and other event participants were each joined by a member of the attraction’s Junior Construction Panel  to enjoy a Grand Opening inaugural ride on “Merlin’s Apprentice”— a flying wizard ride where guests pedal faster to make their seats rise into the air.

Just the fifth such location in the nation – the first in the Northeast – LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is a $12 million, 32,300 square-foot, indoor attraction geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families.  Its range of educational and interactive experiences includes hands-on play areas, a 4D cinema, master classes led by Master Model Builders, two LEGO amusement rides and MINILAND — the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of more than 1 million LEGO bricks.

“From a very young age children have always had the desire to build—but LEGO bricks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centers have taken things to an entirely new level—and the options are as endless as their imaginations,” said Bruce Ratner, Chairman and CEO of Forest City Ratner Companies.  “With the opening of Merlin’s wonderful and educational LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Ridge Hill enhances its status as a premier regional location for shopping and dining and family entertainment in the great city of Yonkers, in the great county of Westchester, in the great state of New York!”

Okay, someone just PINCH ME! I am so excited about “Finding Dory”, one of my all time favorite Disney-Pixar characters ever! I just LOVE Finding Nemo and NOW THIS! I think my life is complete. I know my reaction may be big, but we have watched Finding Nemo as a family a million times! I kind of never expected this to come out, even though I heard hints of it in the ocean here and there. So we will definitely be swimming around and following up with ALL the details on Finding Dory!


When Dory said “just keep swimming” in 2003’s Oscar®-winning film “Finding Nemo,” she could not have imagined what was in store for her (not that she could remember). Ellen DeGeneres, voice of the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish, revealed details today about Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Dory”—an all-new big-screen adventure diving into theaters on Nov. 25, 2015.

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” said DeGeneres. “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
Director and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton takes audiences back to the extraordinary underwater world created in the original film. “There is no Dory without Ellen,” said Stanton. “She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world—not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In ‘Finding Dory,’ she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way.”
According to Stanton, “Finding Dory” takes place about a year after the first film, and features returning favorites Marlin, Nemo and the Tank Gang, among others. Set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.
“Finding Nemo” won the 2003 Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature; the film was nominated for three additional Oscars® (Best Writing, Original Screenplay; Best Music, Original Score; Best Sound Editing). It was also nominated for a Golden Globe® Award for Best Motion Picture–Comedy or Musical. In 2008, the American Film Institute named “Finding Nemo” among the top 10 greatest animated films ever made. At the time of its release, “Finding Nemo” was the highest grossing G-rated movie of all time. It’s currently the fourth highest grossing animated film worldwide. The film has more than 16 million Likes on Facebook, and Dory—with more than 24 million—is the most Liked individual character from a Disney or Disney•Pixar film.
DeGeneres’ distinctive comic voice has resonated with audiences from her first stand-up comedy appearances through her work today on television, in film and in the literary world. Her syndicated talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” is in its 10th season and has earned 38 Daytime Emmy® Awards. DeGeneres has won 12 People’s Choice Awards and the Teen Choice Award for Choice Comedian for three consecutive years. Additionally, her show won two Genesis Awards and a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Talk Show Episode. For her unforgettable turn as Dory, DeGeneres was nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance.
