When I first heard about being noseblind, the thought of it terrified me. We have all been to friends’ houses I’m sure, where there is a cherished pet in the mix. Although the family can’t sense the odor, the company sure can. It made me wonder about my own house. We have always had a pet for as long as I can remember. Dogs, Cats, Birds, Hermit Crabs- and they all smell! The good news is that even before this campaign, we have been long time fans of Febreze. Why? Well, it works!

At this point our two pups have passed on during the last year, but we still have our kitty. We are in the process now of puppy hunting, so Febreze will definitely be a friend of our family in the upcoming months. In the meantime, kitty needs all the help she can get. She looks so darn innocent, but she is a total Stinkface! Do you have an animal in your house? If you do, be sure to use Febreze to help you out, even if you can’t smell them, others can!

Febreze helps pet owners get guest-ready by safely eliminating odors in their home that they are noseblind to; Febreze enables you to always be guest ready.  Recently, Febreze has teamed up with actor and comedian Jane Lynch to encourage dialogue about a naturally occurring condition that affects many (if not most) pet owners: noseblindness. Noseblindness can affect anyone, but it shouldn’t keep people from adopting pets – or their guests from coming over. During 2014 a global survey from Atomik Research indicated that 49 percent of Americans say that they dread visiting homes with pets because of the smell. Our Febreze’s Air Effects, Fabric Refresher and Car Vent Clip products meet the standard for inclusion on the ASPCA’s Pet Friendly Living list, so you can be sure your pets are safe when you’re using Febreze. For almost 150 years, the ASPCA has been the nation’s leading voice for animals. In order to use the ASPCA Pet Friendly Living logo, product ingredients must be reviewed by the ASPCA and be deemed to be non-toxic to animals when used as directed. Noseblindness occurs naturally over time when a person becomes accustomed to surrounding smells, whether it’s a dog bed or kitty litter box, and can no longer easily detect those distinct odors. With the help of Jane Lynch alongside the ASPCA, Febreze is prompting pet lovers nationwide to talk about what guests really smell.
