It’s Your Chance To Sing Your Heart Out Along With Disney’s FROZEN
Limited Showing Starting January 31st!
Commmme on January 31st! If you are like our family you will be at the theater on January 31st, 2014 singing along with everyone else. Disney’s Frozen is so amazing. I knew it from back in October when I first got a sneak peak at the movie. I was lucky enough to be invited to the Frozen Press Junket in NYC where I spent the day chatting with Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, producers, and more. The more we chatted about the background of Frozen the more I knew just how BIG it would be. When I left the event that day I was lucky enough to get to preview a demo of the Frozen soundtrack. The minute I put it started to play in the van my family went crazy for it. It was not long before all of the songs were committed to memory. By the time the movie premiered in theaters we knew all the songs. My daughter had the advantage of already knowing all the songs before even seeing the movie. On opening day she sang along!! Of course we will be there on January 31st singing along again! How can any Frozen fan resist this chance to see this fantastic movie again on the big screen and sing their hearts out during the movie!
“‘Frozen’ fans have embraced the film’s original songs and its soundtrack with such passion—there are countless YouTube videos from people singing songs like ‘Let It Go’—we decided to create a version that would celebrate that enthusiasm,” said Dave Hollis, executive vice president, theatrical distribution, The Walt Disney Studios. “It’s a great opportunity for families to get together and have some fun with these songs.”
According to Hollis, on-screen lyrics and a magical bouncing snowflake will accompany select showings; moviegoers can check local listings for showtimes and theaters. The duration of the sing-along run will vary by theater.
Live near Hollywood? You are going to love this! At Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre, the “Frozen” sing-along version includes on-stage appearances from the movie’s Elsa prior to each showing, plus snow flurries inside the theater. Showtimes are at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
